Let me start out saying the I LOVE , free gold for poke ? Why the hell not. So during the lanning phase, this item is great. Now lets look at the actives of the final items, and tell me, Why the hell would I want this item ?? The Ap is great and so is the mana regen, but for just that I would build and it would give me the same amount of CDR, 10 less ap but double the mana regen + a passive that I will actually use, so only the plus 10 gold is missed. And the amount of gold given to me is the same as the item it builds from, and the active is not nearly as useful as the other 2 support items. One gives anyone on your team a shield, that scales with my max health, and since I am a tanky support, I probably have a Solari, or a Warmogs or whatever, so its going to be a good shield. The other gives a huge move speed bonus to my teammates that are around me, on a short ass cooldown. Or you know, I could be a Elsa cosplay, and sing let it go, and throw a snowball in my opponents face, and slow them for 2 seconds. You see the problem, now every support, when it comes late game ,just sells whatever money making item they built and buy
