This happens on ARAM all the time. My team takes down all of their towers except on Nexus turret, and their Inhibitor and have only lost our first tower, then the enemy team rushes us in a big 5v5 and we lose 3 people instantly, then they either kill a fourth person or get an ace and rush our nexus, and even though we respawn just as they take down our last tower there's nothing anyone on my team can do to save the nexus.

And it happens the other way around too!

at the 60 minute mark, everyone is full build so it no longer matters. You failed to finish, so your lead is removed. One teamfight decides it. You let it get there, you deserve the loss.

We had almost a 10k gold lead at 35 minutes. That game should have never gone on that far or been a loss, but our team was incapable of closing it out which gave them the "near impossible comeback."

in order for it to be near impossible, your team would still be super behind on items. If the game's gone on long enough to level out, it's gone from "near impossible" to "just win the next TF", which is a lot better.

They were "super behind" at 35 minutes, that's why we had a 9k gold lead. Any competent team with that kind of a lead at that point in the game finishes it no problem. We didn't have a competent team which is why we lost. Is this rocket science?

I'm saying they didn't do anything special to outplay. They stalled you until your lead meant nothing. Then they won on level ground. Near impossible is straight winning on a gigantic uphill battle.

Lol you don't even know anything about the match. "They stalled us." My team was too scared to push objectives with the lead we had and gave them the game. There comeback has nothing to do with them and every thing to do with my teams inability to act.

Look at the last two fights, out team stood around and watched them take our inhibitor, after I forced the fight which is why I died, We ended up wining 4 to 1. After that My team runs down into the enemy base and all die to a single Miss Fortune ultimate while trying to rush down nexus turrets. That quadra kill Miss Fortune got at the end of the game was a 1v4, thats how bad this team was. With all of them being lvl 18 and full build they lost 1v4 to a single adc.

That team did nothing to get that win, it was literally handed to them by our incredibly bad team.

well... what changed the game was the fck up at the end... when MissFortune soloed Baron? followed by Sona and Warwick dying trying to defend an inhib against Zed , Malphite and RekSai ... Diana did got a chance to kill ...while the rest flee... then Diana went ahead and got your team a 6th dragon while Gnar was having fun backdorring one of your inhibs by himself... while all 4 Draven Diana Warwick Poppy of you went ahead and pushed for the win... you left Sona defending one of your inhib (might be respawn) and ofcourse died vs MissFortune and RekSai ... at the same time you had a team fight in enemy base you end up winning killing Gnar , Malphite , Zed and RekSai ... by the looks of it you got an inhib of that fight.....

With just MissFortune alive you had that game in the bag... BUT stopped pushing and recalled back to her base seen how low you guys was... SHE ended up having a QUADRA! successfully defending her base killing all 4 of you guys Poppy Draven Warwick Diana .

at the same time Minions are pushing your base, Gnar spawns and tp's and takes down your base... End

(OF COURSE I WASN'T THERE! So idk what actually happened... that's just based on the events that happen on the graph... no idea if any of this is correct)

Nice assumption but thats not what happened. I've already explained the loss in another comment.

Their entire team was in our base taking an inhibitor, which my team would do nothing about. So I flash ulted to force an engage, dying in the process, but we went on to win the fight 4 for 1.

After that my team ran down mid lane and tried to rtush down the nexus turrets. They all died to Miss Fortune, by herself. That quadra at the end is her 1 v 4 against the rest of my team in which they died standing in her ultimate while also tanking nexus turrets.

Gnar re spawned shortly after and TP'd into the base, I was the only one standing and couldn't stop him so they won the game.

4 people all at max level with full items builds vs a lone adc and they lose, thats why we lost the game, thats the quality of teammates I had.

Possibly my best ranked game; no my best game ever. I was Jinx and the only other I remember were Teemo and Ezreal (enemy mid). At one point, all our towers and inhibitors were down. Our nexus was down to a 3rd of its health before we aced the enemy team. Somehow, a half hour later we won. There was a team fight at baron, and the front tower to the enemy base was down. I took down the inhibitor before Ezreal noticed. He showed up just as i destroyed the inhibitor, before flashing toward the nexus (extra speed cuz Jinx passive). I got to work taking down the nexus, and brought down when ezreal showed up. At that point I felt a mixture of joy and adrenaline.

The post game lobby was just a big OMG moment for everyone. I even got 3 honours at once (rare in EUW). All they enemy had to do to win was backdoor. Sure Teemo laid mushrooms all over the base, but they still could have backdoored. It was a nice, probably the biggest reason why I don't surrender easily. But it sure would have been nice if that hapened once this season during my placements. Especially to prevent me from going to Bronze V.

I had a game where things were going hairy, but our jinx (I was in a 4-man, including jinx) was a fucking backdoor god. They literally backdoored all three inhibs (towers were predestroyed) TWICE while we distracted. This gave me the opportunity to TP to a ward he left behind by their nexus to destroy it. The enemy team was PISSED, "oh you can't fight fair, have to go behind our backs".

I had a game that the other team had 2 inhibs down and we had 2 tier 2 turrets down and they were ahead by 15 kills. They went for Baron and we stole Baron and aced and then pushed mid to win. Our whole team was confused at why they went Baron instead of pushing our base.

had one match where we were losing really bad and had two failed surrender attempts. We got into a teamfight, Aced the other team and rushed their base. somehow we managed to take their inhibitor, nexus turrets and ace them again (thanks to how far apart their spawns were) and took their nexus. The best advice I could give to anyone if you have a chance to make a comeback, it's to space out killing the enemy team so at the most they will have only 2 people alive at a time. It works every time in ARAM.

Just play him often. I used to ult and hit (Panic).. You really can take your time. He does stupid damage. Once you're ahead you pretty much can't be stopped if you play right. Just watch for QSS.

Had a ranked game where we almost surrendered... But somehow we started making small comebacks due to our mid/ lategame comp and we managed to defend and make picks then finally push into their base and win... given how game are almost always a stomp now, it was refreshing for a change.
