Please realize KDA doesn't matter if you lose the game
All these posts about this kda is better than that kda when in the grand scheme of things none of it matters. The only thing that matters is if you win or if you lose the game.

I don't play any of those and downvoted, a KDA that isn't yours shouldn't matter when you lost a game however YOUR KDA does matter because it can reflect a bit more on what YOU could improve on. Like let's say you had some extremely high amount of kills 3 deaths no assist you can realize that maybe you should have shared some kills to another person so they could get beefy later on and maybe the enemy team focused you out of a fight to pick on your deprived team.
Those who compare their KDA to someone else's KDA aren't smart but those who look at their own KDA and realize ROUGHLY part of what they did wrong can improve.
IT'S TOO LATE
I am curious where this logic comes from.
More often than not, the difference between a win and a loss is a better overall team KDA.
So... Don't die so much?
correct only low elo players think kda means anything (in solo que anyways). Hell they dont even know its correct to die sometimes so therefore it hurts the little "kda" bs
new player here - KDA I think matters. It can contribute to losing/winning. How fast your opponents can build up depends on how hard you make it for them to get kills, or stack, or whatever. However. There are numerous scenarios where it's better to have low deaths/high assists/low kills and so on, so, it becomes hard to just pick one or the other. I lean towards it mattering, especially late game, when a kill can be a big tempo swing. Although I play ARAM predominately, those games are solely decided by who can get the late game ace and have the team waiting 70 seconds to spawn in or so and you go mad on pushing towards their Nexus. On regular modes it's not that simple.
KDA matters a lot but if you actually need to sacrifice yourself for a win (as rare as this should be) then go for it.
The only time you can justifiably suicide for the greater good is if your build isn't meant to function in a particular way (e.g. Full Damage Lee Sin vs. Initiator Lee Sin) but you are required to play out the fight as though you're using a conventional build despite quite possibly being too squishy to survive afterwards.
A few days ago we were 45 minutes into a game and we were looking as though we might lose. I kicked the enemy Naut into his entire team with a full build full damage lee sin, died immediately after I Q E'd but our Kat got a quadra to ace and we won.
A higher KDA generally means you are playing well. Even if you're dying for "the good of the team", which almost never happens, it's not like you should be averaging 6-7 deaths a match. That is an insane amount that really hurts your team. Yeah, the end goal is winning, but actually playing well and not constantly feeding the enemies helps achieve that goal.
