"We believe that offering more bans will encourage deeper champion pools with more individual champions seeing the Rift - and that it’ll make a fun and engaging draft phase for fans to watch."
^ That's horrible, man.
In every game I play, I'm that type of gamer that only use 3 - 5 characters, no more. Because I have to dedicate time (which I don't want) for other characters. Meanwhile, I just enjoy the characters I use.
Yes, I have used and tried other champions in League. But those champions lacks the fun I enjoy playing my champion-pool. For example: Rengar is a really good champion, but I don't see myself "maining" Rengar, or Kha, or Shaco.
I survived playing Sheik in Melee, because that was the character adapted to my style.
I survived playing Assassin (in Diablo 2) and Sorceress, because those were my style.
Juri in Super Street Fighter 4 (although I like Akuma and Chun-Li, but Juri was my confident one).
Zergs in Starcraft.
And so on...
I hope they don't ban all the supports I use, because I'm not comfortable using Alistar / Braum / Blitz / whatever tank, like I am using Thresh / Lulu / Nami / Raka / Sona / Janna / Taric. I rather go an AP champion I know how to use in mid (and I'm not fan of those). Meh.
PD: Like Zyra, Annie, Lux, Orianna. (With Support Items, don't worry, I'm not full-AP).
I hope they release more Supports and I feel comfortable learning those.
I'm worried, sorry if I sound like a troll. Is more like a "I've already tried them, but no." :(
