opt out of placements

I continue to climb to bronze 2 or so, then get bronze 5 after placements. Im aware of the curve and all, but when I finish b2 and start off on a losing streak, I just want to be bronze 5 so I can start the climb. Why do you waste my time riot? why make me play 10 games to start at the bottom... Again.

Because it affects your MMR. If you do well in your placements, you could be winning 25LP for a win and losing 13 for a loss. If you dont, you could be losing more LP than gaining from wins
