So... I lost a game much because a Sona was having connection issues; came in and out and fed doing so. Do I get LP back? Climbing is tough, but that's a lot because of the community. Either way, I'm trying to get good MMR for next season.
You can never get LP back unless 1) the servers go down in the middle of the game or 2) you remake before 5 minutes, and those technically aren't even giving LP back. Having bad players is part of league and you just either need to live with it or quit.
Short answer is no, you don't get LP back in any case other than what Ducke said previously.
View League as Dark Souls you or 1 of your teammates will die over and over and over again, same thing with your LP it's going to go away again and again.
