Am I the only one who thinks Zilean is the dullest champ in the game? I'm not debatting is viability. He can be downright oppressive with someone who can reliably land his bombs. But I just feel like he's missing something in his kit to make give you more to do. His ability to lower cooldowns (I think it's his W but don't quote me on that) feels more like it should be some sort of passive and it should be replaced with some other mechanic.
Aatrox on the otherhand has a fun kit to dive in and get into people's face. So he feels more fun to play except that he's very much undertuned so he's rather weak. I'd still play him over Zilean though.
I am the last person to call Aatrox a good design.
But Zilean is played as a snore fest AFK shove champion.
makes me want to sleep.
Zilean's entire gameplay is just spam bombs and then ult, speedup/slow someone every once in a while. That's about it... he really is just dull and boring to play... even the most simplistic champions have more decision making than he does
