There's a strong build called Marksman azir, normal azir is fine though. Just play passive until you reach an enormous power spike (when you have
+

or something at levels 9-14. Marksman azir is basically 3 nashors tooth with
and some other stuff and uses deathfire touch to dish out insane damage extremely fast, look it up.
Does that mean I can't poke aggressively anymore? D:
Okay, so just to be clear, "play passive until power spike" is general advice, and "Marksman Azir" is a recommended build, but not necessary?

You can, just be aware that you're extremely vulnerable when your Q and W are on cooldown though.

It's not necessary, it's like a troll build like tank veigar or uh.. full AP malphite but it still actually works and I've carried games with it even though the build looks really weird (http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/marksman-azir-emperors-flurry-411816)
And here's just a normal azir build (http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/bp2-challenger-guide-wanna-learn-azir-click-here-6-13-470877#chapter6)
I… umm… I'm kind of concerned about that lack of Nashor's. Is that a big deal?
I prefer having a nashor's +
but you could add it in if you want, try it out in a custom game before using it in a real game just to be sure though.
So something like this?

Let him be a reminder for Riot to not continually nerf a champ repeatedly just because the pros are doing well with them. If they do nerf a champ that the pros are good with, then they should be nerfs that will only really effect the pros.
