Riot has stated that every champion has strengths and weaknesses for a reason. Obviously having sustain was a strength of certain champions but now half of the champion roster is able to use it on top of the built in defenses they have. It has caused some champions to abuse it like Yasuo and Tryndamere, and to a lesser extent the adc roster, primarily the likes of Draven and Caitlyn.
StealWolverine1 votesNo. Fervor is still way better. At half health it gives less lifesteal against minions than even just a dorans blade for ranged champs.

Yasuo and Tryndamere prefer fervor of battle actually. ADCs take it because fervor is just frankly not very good unless you can crit consistently, which only Yasuo and Tryndamere can.
