Throwback Thursday to when...

  • Riot released Zoe with an easy to land hard CC ability that couldn't be cleansed until people complained about it long enough.

  • Riot straight up refused to balance Ardent Censor for the 2nd half of Season 7 (also known as Ardent Season) despite literally all elo's including Pro's saying it made bot lane 2v8.

  • Riot released a new Rune system with no good Runes for many champions, most notably Bruisers, hi @hashinshin I see you 👉.

  • Riot buffed Banner so incredibly hard that they needed to Hot-Fix remove it from the game. Still don't know how that one ever made it to live.

  • People literally just wanted Crit ADC's itemization to cost a little bit more so they didn't spike so early but instead Riot straight up gutted Crit ADC's, even if it is getting better.

  • Riot said they wanted to diversify the Jungle, then proceeded to make a Scuttle Crab change that forced any Jungler's who weren't early game jg's out of the meta, only solidifying the same early game jg's to keep being played.

  • Riot basically gave Kha'Zix perma-stealth with his reworked Evolved R and took months to revert it despite both boards AND pro's testifying it was busted.

  • Everybody was complaining about Turrets being pathetically weak for months and then Riot proceeded to nerf them even more.

  • Allowing CertainlyT to create champs with no one watching over his shoulder. (I jest, plz no hate).

  • Everybody wanted Zoe nerfs a couple patches after release because she was and still is obnoxious to play against, and Riot's bandaid solution (I imagine they did this because her skin hadn't sold enough yet) was to increase the CD on her Q at max rank by 0.25 Seconds! Actually a joke.

  • Riot straight up ignored "Damage is too high" comments and threads for months and months until Scarra finally made a video on it.

And I just want to say, in Scarra's video you can see how TRULY TRULY sad the state of the game and it's current management makes Scarra feel because he genuinely loves this game despite everything.
