Can we have different pick and ban modes for Summoner's Rift games?

In all 5v5 modes (except blind pick) on Summoner's Rift, teams blindly ban champions which often result in overlapping bans. When both teams ban the same champions, it just seems like a waste because 10 unique bans are more effective than 5-9 bans. In eSports games (5v5 Summoner's Rift), the teams get 10 unique bans because their champion banning phase is similar to their champion picking phase (nothing is blind). Unfortunately, 10 unique bans are not guaranteed for the rest of us.

I understand that some players may prefer blind bans over unique bans because ban phases are time consuming so instead of suggesting that banning be changed, I am suggesting that different types of banning and picking be available. These are the options that I believe players should have for 5v5 Summoner's Rift modes:

  • Blind Modes
  • Blind Pick: No champions are banned. Both teams pick 5 champions each to play at the same time without the opposing team seeing the picks until after everyone is locked in.
  • Blind Pick & Ban: Both teams ban 5 champions each at the same time without the opposing team seeing the bans until after they are all locked in. Then, both teams pick 5 champions each to play at the same time without the opposing team seeing the picks until after everyone is locked in.
  • Blind Pick/Phased Ban: Both teams take turns banning one champion at a time until 10 total are banned (bans are visible to all players). Then both teams pick 5 champions each to play at the same time without the opposing team seeing the picks until after everyone is locked in.
  • Draft Modes
  • Draft Pick: No champions are banned. Team X picks 1 champion, Team Y picks 2 champions, Team X picks 2 champions, Team Y picks 2 champions, Team X picks 2 champions, and then Team Y picks 1 champion. [All champion picks are seen after they are individually locked in.]
  • Draft Pick/Blind Ban: Both teams ban 5 champions each at the same time without the opposing team seeing the bans until after they are all locked in. Team X picks 1 champion, Team Y picks 2 champions, Team X picks 2 champions, Team Y picks 2 champions, Team X picks 2 champions, and then Team Y picks 1 champion. [All champion picks are seen after they are individually locked in.]
  • Draft Pick/Phased Ban: Team X bans 1 champion, Team Y bans 2 champions, Team X bans 2 champions, Team Y bans 2 champions, Team X bans 2 champions, Team Y bans 1 champion, Team Y picks 1 champion, Team X picks 2 champions, Team Y picks 2 champions, Team X picks 2 champions, Team Y picks 2 champions, and then Team X picks 1 champion. [All champion picks and bans are seen after they are individually locked in.]

I understand that some of these modes may require more time than the modes already available. For this reason, I suggest that modes with phases have shorter countdowns (give players a little less time to ban and pick) so that champion select doesn't take forever.

Main concern here is that dividing the players available among even more queues further increases queue times and decreases the even disputable matchmaking (forcing even more players into autofill).
