Why are there so many people playing Ranked games who don't give a shit about winning?

Like why play Ranked to start with if you just want to FF ten minutes in? You aren't gonna climb and that's evidenced by the 25% winrate you have. So many people like this who keep getting into Ranked games, feeding five kills and then trying to FF as quickly as possible. Why are you even playing at all? How is getting your ass stomped and losing every game enjoyable?

Just venting after I had a game of three toxic people flaming each other all game and forcing a 4-0 Surrender vote at 20 minutes even though we were only down three kills with a feeding JIV and hadn't lost any 2nd tier towers. Felt rigged as fuck.

I think it's because at any given time the 10 players in a given game are at a different level of tilt.

The players who mentally give up at the first problem are probably tilting hard from previous games.

I empathize with you though. I've had plenty of similar stories and i'm sure I'll get more of it in the near future.

Picking Teemo first. Pushing the lane at 2:30 in the game. Gets ganked. Since he is Teemo he has zero mid/lategame relevancy. Pings jungler to gank his lane. Jungler ganks his lane, which precious time is wasted since Teemo is already irrelevant to the game.

...Why do these people even que.

Not saying it was INTENTIONAL, but Riot has carefully curated this mindset by cultivating a toxic playerbase that allows trolling to screw players over in a frankly paranoid and desperate bid to hold back "cheating". The game keeps moving in a direction to "get you out of bad games FASTER" rather than working to try to make better games because people keep throwing out excuses about how ANY suggestion to improve the quality of a single game is "too abuseable", so instead we accept that many games will suck and just throw out suggestions about how to make it easier to move to the next, all while ignoring that this also makes it easier for trolls to do the same and encourages people to give up faster because maybe the current game is also trolls rather than a rough early game, so the number of GOOD games keeps getting smaller and smaller.
