Rito Pls the state of Flex Que

Why is it soo toxic ? and why is it so unbalanced overall ? I mean I cannot personally complain about most games I have had. I do well even against decent players in the Que and I do win and lose about 50 % of the time so in that sense its actually not THAT bad. But its still a pain when your gold 5 getting matched up with a diamond player who's just going to scrape the floor with you. I wish you would make it so that you get paired with players maybe a divison or two above or below u but no further than that. so gold 5 you would play gold 3 or silver 4 only. That would kinda help alot atm.

Is there any plans to do anything to this que ? I mean its quite difficult to reach gold here and your expecting players to want to play this que to reach gold because there is going to be a "Physical Reward" this year for players who reach gold in both queues ? Its literally the only reason I am playing Flex Queue.

But man I am easily reporting 10 + players a day Rito in flex Queue what is going on with the system in that queue ? feels like players are just trolling it intentionally like its another normals queue.

I am not going to call out any players specifically but one of them even stated before the game even started "this game is lost because I am going to troll" said player proceeds to build 5 daggers and intentionally feed. and when even told by the enemy team this person was going to be reported he still admitted to it there was no cares given at all. and was laughing it up about it. Yes I and prolly 4 others reported this person. But your IFS system seemingly does nothing.

I never get anything saying a player was punished even when I report up to 10 people a day. I can understand that not everyone will be punished or immediately punished ... but a person saying their going to troll in champ select then literally does it in game then laughs about it and that person is reported and STILL nothing happens ? CMON .... that person should be banned INSTANTLY.

Anyhow other than that I was just wondering if any adjustments are being thought about for Flex Queue. If you guys are offering players something for playing flex it should at least feel competitive and worth doing and not a toxic fest am I right ? also it should be more fair as like I said being paired with players who are diamond and are vastly superior to you is not very fun or competitive.

Again I still win about 50% of my games so OVERALL it does feel decently balanced as when you get the diamonds then you basically win its more like a gambling arena of who's going to get the diamonds on their side lol.

I can almost guarantee that there will not be a "physical" reward for gold+ in both queues. That would be incredibly impractical and super expensive in shipping costs alone, never mind the cost of the reward itself. The only physical rewards they spoke of were for the top challenger players in each queue, which is a far more reasonable group to distribute to.

That said, they did say there was a special (they didn't say physical) reward for those who achieved gold+ in both, so probably something like a ward skin or icon.

I think flex isn't inherently problematic, it's just it's too new so everyone is a long way from their 'true' flex mmrs still (i.e. theres silver level players with plat flex mmrs just because they got lucky in placements and early flex matches, and diamond level players with silver mmrs). If people actually put time into it, things would probably level out towards the end of the season.

I suspect a lot of people are still basically soloing or if they are in a premade, they're basically still just kinda winging it without any special team coordination plays too. I suspect eventually the high ends of flex will be pretty heavily biased towards actually coordinated teams, so many lone wolves might end up peaking below their solo queue peak rank, and that's working as intended. (As a solo player, I was pretty eager to crank out diamond in flex before turning my attention to solo/duo for that reason.)

Those who climb to Gold in both Solo/Duo Queue and the Flex Queue will unlock an extra-special end-of-season reward.

you could be right maybe i misread about there being something physical. But still an extra special reward ? i want that. I want to be special.
