Honestly just make it a permanent game mode please... All i have left to do is ARAM... and after having nexus blitz, i really don't think i can enjoy aram anymore.

I mean losing a dice roll of matches to complete bullshit "RNG" kind of gets old really quick. Could lose 1 match. Could lose 9 matches, and every single one of them be completely utterly one sided to no end. I mean 0 poke, 0 engage, 0 tank, vs 3 poke 1 tank and 1 adc kind of one sided, which just so happens to be what happens to me more times than not.

Not to mention the crazy amount of bots you get on ARAM that go 0-11 in 3 minutes... and then hold you hostage since the enemy team just wants to farm kills and you can't fucking ff when 2 bots won't let you fuckin FF.

I know nexus blitz is pretty one sided, but man, at least you get to pick ur champ, and it usually is never 0 engage, 0 poke, 0 tank vs 3 poke 1 adc, and 1 tank kind of 1 sided.

#make nexus blitz permanent please. I actually forgot just how unenjoyable the game is while that mode was out. It shed a tear of happiness and fun into the game that has been missing this entire season.

I just refuse to do ranked or normals in the current state of the game, so ARAM is all i have left v.v

It was in Alpha playtesting, to gather data and player impressions. Now it's back in the works, for a polished release at a later date, I suppose, since I haven't caught of any outrage against it, and it seemed to be played by a sizeable amount of people despite its being rough still.

Short answer: it's in development. Like, this much was written several times in various posts by Riot Games employees on the boards.

They said they're "deciding" on whether or not to add it back. I hope they do, played some SR games earlier and it was so draining. Let me play a fun quick game mode again :(

Yeah this post is my exact feels.

Waited all day to play some league yesterday, chose ARAM because I might be interupted by dinner---. After an hour and a half of standing behind tower on the 4th different character, I put the game down, cried that I had chosen to spend my precious free time this way, and realized how damn hard I miss Blitz.

It is SO FAR superior to ARAM, quicker, more exciting...! I can't wait for it to return.

In times where you are trying to be quick, Blitz = gg. 18 min sudden death is amazing if you're short on time.

That, and the rest of what was said I totally agree with. Can't really play much ARAM after Blitz either.

The fact that Blitz has its own meta, with legitimate tactics for winning and such makes it probably the best "fun mode" there is. Others are just silly and largely luck (thanks for making URF permanently random, Rito -- you sure know how to break everything fans love), and Blitz certainly doesn't shy away from the "fun" and "silly" aspects of these modes. However, being able to actually sway the outcome of the game makes it way better, imo.

I hadn't played PvP since November 2017 until Blitz came out, got 12 games under my belt and enjoyed being able to squeeze three games into an hour. Somehow won 11 out of 12 which worries me deeply, but I'm eager to have to back so I can mess around with weird set ups and champions that don't work in SR. Pyke Jungle was hype, I didn't enjoy Pyke until I tried him there.

I have enjoyed spamming Yasuo MonkeyKing Rengar Twitch Quinn MasterYi MissFortune Khazix onto those poor souls who picked Mages or immobile no 1 shot champs there so much.

Cant do the same in ARAM.

I love that you can pick your comp on Blitz, it actually has its own meta, and you can actually sway the outcome of the game. Other fun modes are 100% random. URF used to have a meta, then Rito realized they were too lazy to actually balance champs with it and forced random. ARAM is inherently nothing but the luck of the draw -- which champ do you get, which champ does everyone else get, and which team gets the most noobs who can't play their random champ. Beyond that, which team gets the troll(s) that simply wants to talk smack to everyone else and cause their team to lose.

Blitz seems to perfectly blend in some random aspects, keeping it very fresh. Random events are great, as winning them isn't necessarily the luck of the draw.

Admittedly, I thought pretty much everything was random in Blitz my first few games. Then I realized that the nexus getting up to battle was not random but time based. I also realized that the placement of the events was based on which team was in the lead. I then realized that the junglers have a HUGE impact on the outcome of the game. Etc., etc.

I miss Blitz, too. Crossing my fingers that it's implemented as a permanent mode soon.

Odyssey is okay-ish, and I enjoy the almost-RPG-ish aspect of the augments, but it shares the same problem as every other mode with unlocks: Noobs jumping to the highest difficulty in an attempt to be carried through it, then failing miserably, all while trolling the rest of the team.

I'd probably absolutely love Odyssey with some better augments (Jinx's augs suck... yeah it's fun to roll AP Jinx and outdamage everyone on the team, but her aguments are troll af... Sona is pigeon-holed into perma-support while Ziggs can out-heal her while simultaneously out-damaging her. Her burst dmg augments are decent, but you won't out-DPS anyone else on the team if they know their class and are playing the optimal augments), more champs, and more variety in the gameplay. As it stands, though, you play 4 rounds which are exactly the same every time, then the boss who is exactly the same as well. The only difference is who he focuses on and tries to screw over during the boss fight.

I feel the exact same way. I had so much fun playing nexus blitz and I will be thoroughly disappointed if it doesn’t end up becoming a permanent mode. I will play ARAMs quite a bit if I don’t feel like playing ranked. But if nexus blitz becomes permanent I don’t see myself playing ARAMs much at all anymore.

As a guy who often has to work days at a time w/o playing any video game, I thought it was the best new addition in years!

I mean... yes the mode needs some polish and a few of the event prizes were mad OP; But overall I loved it!

And it was really fun finally getting to try Atama's Reckoning on my beloved Poppy :3

It was a great 3rd item for her. Not worth rushing over SFC and SV but really gave her that extra oomph mid to late game! :D

Nexus Blitz is going to be a permanent game mode. This was a testing phase. It's going away so they can do more work on it, then coming back permanently.
