Worse part about this game recently

Is with this garbage bullshit 1 shot meta, 1 team fight decides the whole match. Which in return, results in completely one sided match.

Then you get held prisoner, by the 3 people that went 1/5 in 6 minutes. But you are the bad guy, for wanting to FF, so you can stop getting 4 man turret dived and 1 shotted by the people who are already an item and a half ahead. Of course that's about 15 minutes in the match, you haven't been able to do anything for the past 9 minutes, and will not be able to for the next however long you are held prisoner by your team mates.

You can't CS/farm, you can't team fight, you can't contest objectives. All you can do is die under your turret till they destroy it simply because some people fed the game out of control before you even had a chance to leave your lane or even shove it in.

It's just awful... Losses are absolutely fucking terrible now. And wins are barely better, because you do the saaaame exact thing that happened to you.

Regardless of the mode... 5v5, 3v3, ranked or normals. Even nexus blitz. When you are held prisoner, in a game that is completely already snowballed and out of control, it is just no fucking fun.

But your the bad guy, when you want to FF so you can stop getting 1 shotted by the people you didn't feed in the first place...

Sigh... So hard to enjoy this shit now. Even Nexus Blitz gets ruined by how 1 sided and snowbally shit is. It's ridiculous. "It's just nexus blitz, chill". All i said is i want to FF, what's not chill about that.... I just don't really feel like dying 5 more times because you somehow find fun in getting 1 shotted by the fucking people you fed! Of course, i don't say anything like that, because that's "toxic".

IDK, i don't enjoy being 1 shotted. And i sure as hell don't enjoy playing a 1 sided match. And i sure as fuck don't enjoy dying countless times instead of moving on to the next match, because somehow, the people who are 1/7 and 1/8 and 1/10 are finding joy, in not being able to do a god damn thing.

What's enjoyable about that? i don't get it... I really don't. And never will. I mean you could argue that they are trying to "learn". But at the same time, you can argue that you can't really learn jack shit, by dying over and over under your turret. The point of learning has already passed at that point, and you are stuck with the punishment of your mistakes early on.

To sum it up, QQQQ to the Q, and please stop holding me prisoner if you fed the match out of control!. K? Thanks...

Yeah, Riot acknowledged that and are working to make recovery feasible again. Yeah I remember the days when games, though long with some reaching an hour, were often enjoyable with no one expecting who would win; it was the best tug of war, where even a loss due to minions felt awesome because you had one last epic teamfight prior (I had one where I was the sole surviving Veigar and aced the enemy team with a Quadra before minions destroyed the nexus).

They also talked about extreme snowball and letting the snowballing team close out faster. To me one of the worst parts is sitting in a 15-25 long game watching your opponents play the game. So I wouldnt mind if they were able to close out faster.

Honestly, I got no prob with that; if one team has such an overwhelming advantage that the other team can't win, I'd think it would be a mercy to give them the ability to just shut it down fast rather than drag it out needlessly. Of course, I worry this may cause conflict somewhere, particularly making snowballers too dangerous; I just hope it's one of those random paranoid feelings.

but why is that overwhelming advantage possible in the first place? riot hear cryes for solo carrying and consequnece of that is not team cashing on advatage but one unmanagable immortal god of death and his team as audience and its game over for everyone enemy go for gray screen simulator and teammates just run accros the map and do nothing because Mr.God is everywhere killing everything so fast they cant even use one ability sorry for english :D

Mostly bad enemy comps; like no tanks, or AD. Or even a disorganized enemy team that can't teamfight their way out of a wet paper bag. Don't get me wrong, I hate snowballing as much as the next guy, but its not any better to go through a painfully dull game when you know the enemy is impotent.

i know, there should be some failsafe mechanism in place to prevent just that to level out playfield littlebit, something like catchup exp gold or diminishing returns not for completly equelizing teams but just enough to give a chance, utter stomp isnt good or fun for both sides and better skills should win games not higher burst and stats

I think the point is going over your head; though they want comebacks to be more plausible again, they want those with a clear and undeniable advantage over their opponent to clean up faster. If the other team can hold out, then it means that the advantage was not game ending.

Also, it is not fun for a game to be a drawn out war against a failed comp or disunited team because the hammer can't squash them fast enough. This has little to do with burst, stats, or other but the difference in skills and teamplay.

aggravating thing is how you get this advantage people dont wan to be deleted from game they missstep by one pixel and then burn like witch on stake it is problem of frontloaded burst being outplayed and lost tilt far less people then being deleted in nanosecond without anything you can do. Ending game is other isue as i write in other topic, many times winning team just doesent want to end game back of from base even if enemy team is dead and just hunt for kills and ego and let game drag long as possible

Yeah I get what you’re saying and i totally relate to this getting held in a lost match thing. Here’s how most matches go down, i hear “an ally has been slain” 5 times before the 5 minute mark, nothing too bad right, well fuck me for thinking that cause it’s 14 v 1 at 10 minutes. “wE sCaLE don’t surrender” -the monkey who fed the kaisa or whichever hard carry there is. The worst part is that these baboons expect me not to tilt over the 20 “an ally has been slain” noise over and over AND OVER.

But i get it there ARE winnable games, they exist, but telling me that you want to play out a match where you fed the hardest carry in all of league of legends in the first ten minutes when she’s supposed to be a late game carry there’s just no way in hell you’re gonna turn that shit around. “Ah but she can dc” no dude that’s like winning the lottery and no one in this game has that luck. Maybe one in 300 games idk, and even then, if that carry and his team got enough objectives and all all your inhibs it’s STILL gonna be hard not to get macroed to death.

Maybe try playing safe and not committing the same mistake 5 times before the 5 minute mark and then you’ll start winning more games. Because dying 3-5 times before 5 minutes isn’t having a “bad game”, it’s straight up inting. You don’t lose all cognative ability when you have a bad game, you don’t go full ape tp into lane after a death when that exact enemy killed you, let him kill you once more, and then go back to lane when you gave him that extra lead and go balls deep again and die AGAIN.

Then the 1/12 ashe has the audacity to come out and say “report him for wanting to surrender”

I just watched Tobias Fate stream and I saw how his entire team sat in the fountain and were afk. They immediately said ''open mid'' because the score was 7:2 for the enemy team. Lol

such quality xD

btw bro, the game will never get balanced. Riot knows it, they know how to balance, btu they simply don't wanna. They have to listen to China now as they bought the whole company. What they say, is what they do. If more damage makes the game ''fun'', then let them be. I don't honestly care, this game will fall down eventually and then they will start making some new ''Moba'' like wow or something...

SIayton4 votes

It's blatantly obvious the burst damage is too high right now by a WIDE margin but for some reason they just tip toe around it and do little baby dick nerfs instead of taking the hammer to it like it desperately needs. I had a game against a gragas that was 1 shotting people with his combo after like 1 kill. It was disgusting. Bruisers should not be 1 shotting anyone. The time to kill in general this season is just wayyyyyyyyy too low. In old seasons if you were behind you could play an in and out, fall back pattern style of fighting and still win if you outplayed them but now there is no outplaying. If they get a button rotation off on you, you're dead. This makes mistakes more punishing than they've ever been before and makes comebacks virtually impossible.

They just need to give everyone like 100 more HP level 1 and 10 more armor / MR or something.

Verxint1 votes

The low TTK has a feedback loop that makes games more one sided. Because things are so explosive player performance becomes more and more inconsistent, making the matchmaker have a harder and harder time creating balanced matches, which return makes more inconsistent performance.

Its the opposite for me.

Ohhhh Hell no.

You're gonna watch this game burn down from your mistakes with me.

And I'm fucking Veigar! I'll scale and delay this game as long as possible.

And if you legit troll or leave in retaliation, I'll just report your ass.

Worse part about this game **recently **

How "recently"? :D Pre-season was over like 9 months ago, and these issues were already pretty evident. They have just made them worse and worse, instead of trying to fix some. That's why this game has fallen to pieces, long ago.

I was just autofilled top (i literally NEVER play top) I picked riven of all champs for some god knows what reason. However a friend literally years ago gave me this tip "Dying once is like losing 80cs, you either go down 30-40 cs in lane if not 60 if ur just unlucky at this point, you still don't lose as much as dying" And i went 2/5/5 first time top, first time riven. All my deaths were traded by the jungler 1 for 1. and i let him carry me. People need to learn this shit and learn to allow themselves to be carried for once. 2/5/5 isnt even a terrible score especially for someone who FIRST TIMED RIVEN IN PLAT2 FOR SOME REASON! I feel so fucking proud for doing nothing but giving my jungler kills and letting myself be carried.

The worst part of the game is the Toxic meta actually. Everyone using the game chat to insult and blame. What concern me the most is that players prefer to play a more balanced game rather than a less toxic and enjoyable one.

All games w/ strategy have similar characteristics regardless of platfrom or genre. The old saying goes, "is it more like chess or checkers?" Well, right now in LoL, sadly, most all champs have the same effect on the game. Whether you are ranged, melee, risky, or safe, everyone can carry and do a ton of damage. LoL is evolving into being more like checkers and less like chess. When we play League, the champs we play are really just game pieces, it is bad design if all the pieces can have the same effect. Engaging, late game carrying, split pushing (wave clear specialist), debuffing, buffing, lane bullying, can all be looked at as types of pieces. In team-based shooters it is nice to have medics, snipers, etc, in football it's imperative to have all the parts of a team, while even in arpgs (when not being carried) supports and aggro drawing tanks are great, and u can rush something in rts's but knowing counters and builds is key.

MOBAs are based off finding a way to get through defensive objectives to destroy the enemy base. Sounds more like a strategic operation than anything else.

Anyone thinking different then me is doing whatever they are doing wrong. I should be in charge of everything I am knowledgeable of, doing is overrated, knowing is everything.

The problem is that all of the newer champions that have come out the last few years have had so many tools put into their kits. Think about Sylas for a second:

  1. his ult steals enemy ults (basically the combos are endless) (can be anything)
  2. his Q has a slow attached to it (slow/damage)
  3. his W has a massive heal and massive damage associated with it (healing/damage)
  4. His E is a dash, a shield, and a grapple all rolled into one. (mobility, durability, gap close)

Now lets compare that to a champion who came out in season 2: Shyvana

  1. she has a double hit for her Q (just damage)
  2. she has a movement speed buff and damage on her W (mobility/damage)
  3. she has a ranged line damage/proccable on-hit ability for her E (just damage)
  4. her ult turns her into a dragon and she jumps in a single direction (and is immune to CC while in the air). (mobility/damage/anti-CC)

There is just no fair comparison to show how far champion kits have come. Every new champion has to one-up the previous in terms of mobility, flashy plays, etc. I get it though, you have to keep the game exciting, but at what point does all of this ridiculousness in a single kit make it so other champions just don't have a fair shake? I think we have reached this point.

New champions need to be truly unique, but specialized. We can't have any more of this "all-in-one" kit.

Thxs for the gr8 reply. It is rare anyone on here actually thinks beyond one individual champ or item, and considers the ripple effect it has on the game at large. I could go on forever, but I will end with that I of course agree with you, and in terms of kits.... everything has a price.

Git gud. Seriously. Learn to play better and climb out of ELO hell. So many people here just want to gave good games served to them on a platter and have no interest in actually improving. Trust me, if it's YOU who is doing the stomping, it will feel a lot better. And as a final reply to all people who are saying Riot made game times shorter i'll tell you this: Certainly Rio had a part in it but, ALSO, games are shorter because people's overall knowledge regarding the meta and how to win has improved over the years and now people KNOW hot to not drag the game on for too long

I will just sit at base now if those sorts of players refuse to surrender. When the team completely throws any chance of winning and then refuses to surrender, then i refuse to have my time wasted. Its not being toxic to do so, its actually more toxic to be held captive. End of discussion.

I mean, even during everyone's darling season it came down to more or less a single teamfight at 30-40 minutes to see who won. Just go back and look at what people complained about back then, people hated that the first 20-30 minutes of the game didn't matter at all and that it might as well just skip straight to the deciding team fight.

Boop Daddy 1 votes

A bad teamfight at 30-40 minutes should end the game. A bad play at 5 minutes should not.

You mean it's not fun to watch some hyper mobile assassin run train on your team while you just hope they're bad at the champion since you no longer have the tools to outplay them, they only have the tools to outplay you?
