This is what tilts me the most about Yasuo, and I can't figure out how to deal with it.

Tornados. Too many tornadoes, made even worse when used in combination with his E. I realize this is a core part to his kit, but having it on a 1-2-use recharge system where the proc for that recharge can be reduced down to just 2.4 seconds means he has a tornado every 5 seconds (give or take time for inbetween). AOE knock up on a 5 second CD tilts me so hard, and I get punished for it so often.

And I totally realize this is sad for someone who has made it to Plat, but I still can't deal with him. There aren't any viable positioning methods if you aren't a ranged laner, his E's move too fast through a lane for you to move back after needing to get cs.

I'm glad that he is getting nerfs soon, but that shouldn't be my solution to dealing with him. Does anyone who plays Yasuo avidly have any advice (preferable not just simple stuff, I have more than a general understanding of things)?

I am curious though in what you play since you said "not a ranged laner" since just about every mid laner including assassins has ranged. Or are you having troubles against yasuo top?

The bulk of the issue is top in most logical situations, but I am an avid Kha'Zix mid player. I realize that sounds stupid and you'll say that's my issue, but I have a positive winrate against Yasuo with him. Despite that, my main issue in that matchup is the above mentioned and I desperately want to adapt to counter him.

I don't see why you would complain about the nado unless it's EQ. It's fairly easy to dodge with any champion with some form of mobility.

I doubt it's to do with the power, as much as it's to do with the rate.

I don't know of any mage which as a ranged poke on an equally short CD, let alone with no mana cost associated with it, while yasuo can just fire them off ever 2.5-6sec if he wants.

At least it's pretty easy to dodge unlike viktor's E. Most mage's poke deal more damage and are harder to dodge.

Again that's not what i'm pointing at. Annie's Q is impossible to dodge, but is still less annoying than yasuo's 3rd Q.

Being annoying isn't a reason to change anything though, it's something subjective and more personal, it has nothing to do with 'balance'.

The EQ is the main thing I am talking about, sorry if that was unclear.

It's clear, but if you play any top with some mobility like kled, that shouldn't be a problem.
