I had seen somewhere that it should have been released shortly after/less than a week after Flex 5's were released, and also that it would be released on November 15th.
Well...it's the 16th, almost 17th, and still no Solo/Duo release?
Was there any update on this that I missed? Cause I went through many boards and even googled, but no luck...

The MMR Fiasco with Flex Queue most likely is the cause of the delay. The estimate for when Solo/Duo queue was given before that happened. No one wants Solo/Duo Queue to release like that, so Riot's got to double/triple check that their fix worked and that it'll work on Solo/Duo Queue too.
That's the most likely reason for rolling it out to the Garena server too, if it fails on one server it would fail on them all, but if it works on one server then it's safe for them all.
The answer is easy, just like last season, it is not coming back.

regardless of the memes and concerns of some people here riot 100% has plans to bring back solo queue. its already in the client. your provisional rankings are going towards flex queue. and there is still a solo queue ranking. its coming back soon. just be patient.

Solo Queue is fucking garbage.
So I have this crazy idea, having played a game against a group. Why not have a queue for Ranked solo, and flex queue for everything else. I remember old solo/duo queue, it honestly wasn't much better than flex queue. If we have just solo queue it becomes more of an experience of 5 people against 5 people who are not on a VoIP server together giving them an advantage or being doubly salty/close-minded causing a less fun environment. I figure if were going to have 2 queues again, that would be the best way to do it. Plus then maybe just maybe we wont get paired up with or against peoples in entirely different leagues....
Yeah the update was "during 6.22". So in two weeks when the next patch is supposed to come you will get the update that DuoQ unfortunately needs to be delayed because technical issues.

Those of you people panicing, Im fairly certain riot was focusing more on the fact that the ranked system was incredibly flawed this preseason, im fairly certain solo/duo will be released on the next patch, the patch after, or the start of next season. Stop freaking out and blaming Riot immediately, its a new season im sure they have bigger issues in terms of balance to be worried about.
Delayed, probably till next patch, or early season 7, or midseason, or next preseason.....

They want to fix Flex Queue then they will focus on Solo Queue
It's out on OCE at this point. I'd expect it sometime within this or the next month, probably prior to the first Season 7 patch.
