With the new Masteries Nasus has pretty much lost any and all risk he had while laning.

Seriously hes got built in sustain, great CC, great damage and relatively safe laning against all but the most harassey champs.

With the new masteries they just compound on this with the sustain being increased with grasp of the undying and Vampirism and runic armor his damage being increased by oppressor which compounds with his CC it just feels like a ton of his weaknesses are either covered or reduced to the point where they arent even that big of an Issue anymore.

I am not saying he is OP or anything but honestly it doesn't feel like there is much risk that he has to deal with either.

Those mastery changes didn't affect the play pattern you're supposed to adopt when playing against nasus at all. Which is camping the shit out of him and denying him stacks

I can't always expect my jungler to sit on top of him all game long no matter how much i want him too. To deny him stacks would mean out damaging his sustain and it only gets stronger the longer the game goes on. The entire laning phase he doesn't really have to worry about much of anyone except those who put out serious constant harass like gnar.

Well, do you want him to get stacked or not?

This is my biggest annoyance when there is a Nasus in the game. You are expected to spend the rest of the game basically trying to punish him for any advance he makes in lane while avoiding ganks from their jungle and farming. Playing against him is not fun at all because it turns your game into "Nasus watch". I can't think of any other champion that can be so tanky, have such massive sustain and have an ability that can take over 50% of your health on such a low cooldown. Veigar can kill most late game but he's at least he's still ultra squishy to make up for it.

See, this is a really big point that I wish would get addressed. Nasus is a walking mini-game. You play the mini-game and stay on his ass the ENTIRE GAME, or you becomes practically un stoppable because you dared do anything else besides Camp the Nasus.

I play him sometimes and I like him, but he's incredibly annoying to deal with and I wish that wasn't the case.

The game is snowbally as hell. It is already a good nerf to him.
