How Can Jinx Be Better Played in the Tank Meta?

I am thinking of playing Jinx and Caitlyn for my placement games, and if Caitlyn gets banned, I am just wondering if there is any way Jinx could be viable in the current meta. Is there anything I could build to help Jinx become viable, or is there no way she could be effective right now?

I play Jinx a lot these days, by the way, so I am curious to see if she can work in ranked.

item 3153 isn't good on jinx. Fishbones splash damage doesn't proc it.

the passive. You can probably google "botrk on jinx", I'm sure plenty of people have gone into detail why it's not that good on her.

but when you are in mini gun .. and have item 3085 you do more aoe damage and it will apply on mini gun and if you more mini gun you dont waste as much mana

so her mega gun which shoots rockets works with item 3085 but it wont apply item 3153 ?

The splash damage from her rockets don't apply item 3153 . The rocket itself will. With item 3085 , you fire multiple rockets, each of which deals splash damage. So whoever you AA with a rocket will also be hit by the splash from the two additional rockets. So crit and ad are your friends.

It's not bad, it's just not good. You're better off building a item 3072 over it almost every time, which even that you don't build every game. She doesn't really need the additional AS from item 3153 either

Core items are generally: item 3006 item 3031 item 3085 item 3094

finishing off with some combination of: item 3036 item 3033 item 3156 item 3072 item 3139

but we were talking about her being viable vs tanks as the OP stated

item 3153 is good for tanks and if you saw what i suggested

getting item 3153 with item 3033 for tanks so you are doing damage based on their HP, and most tanks have massive sustain so the grievous wounds combined with armor pen would all work together to help melt them

she's already viable against tanks without item 3153 . There are very few cases where it would be better. If you're using her minigun, the AS it gives is completely wasted, and if you're using fishbones, she loses syngery with the passive. It would work, and you could still kill things, there are just better items to buy.

BOTRK is good on Jinx, only when the enemy team has enough people stacking health.

I'm confused, why wouldn't she be viable in ranked? She is, and pretty much always has been a good pick. her build hasn't really changed either, it's still item 3031 item 3085 item 3036 item 3006 item 3094 item 3072 with some minor variations.
