What makes Sejuani bad in solo queue?

Is it because it's too hard to follow up on her or something? The amount of CC she has would make it seem like she would be a top-tier jungler.

I've stopped playing her since the rework. She's just not as fun anymore and I really miss the old ult. Would revert everything but the W 10/10. One thing I can say is that without multiple melee champs to coordinate with, her E is kinda trash. Without it, she just lost a lot of her CC potential.

That said, riot's trying to get her into the LCS for worlds.

she's a tank, we're in an assassin meta. that's it.

I think it's because she's a really good teamfight contributor, with strong CC, initiation, and tankiness. Butas we all know, people in solo queue teams kill each other more than they kill the other team since people don't usually like working together.

Compare this to LCS games where the importance of communication and teamwork is plus ultra, so even after constant nerfs, she keeps having value in those games.

It's because she's a hodge-podge of terrible ideas and incompetent design.

Her Passive: Amazing, the only beneficial thing about her rework Her Q: Same as it has always been. Her W: Gutter. Trash. Her E: Cool in your first 10 games and then you realize it has no purpose outside of early ganks and a jungle clear catch-up mechanic (every other jungler clears faster than Sej). Her R: Trash tier Lissandra ultimate.

I loved old Sejuani, and yes, her ult was busted, but some number tweaks and she would've been fine - mainly reduce the stun time, it was hella devastating. Otherwise, her whole kit was based around her being a tank that can initiate, soak up damage, and apply sustained CC. You countered her the same way you counter all slow-moving tanks. Now, she's just a mess, and at the bottom in terms of winrate.

You can't duel, but it's in your kit. You can't tank very well, but it's in your kit. You can't CC very well because it's a 5v5 game, not 1v1; but it's in your kit.

She was built from the ground-up to be a mid to late game tanky menace that can take on the entire enemy team and you countered her by removing her presence from lane early, thus shutting her down. This new rework Sejuani really makes me feel like the guys at Riot want to be SUPER CREATIVE AND TOTALLY ORIGINAL and fail to realize that every champion has a theme and a framework.

Sejuani's old kit worked fine, there was no need for a rework. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. In the case of vidya, just tune it.

TL;DR New Sejuani breaks my heart because I loved the champion. Can't even play her anymore because she's just weak all-around.

For me the old Sejuani was able to do a lot of plays by herself without being chained by her team, never depending on having someone with her to deal with every game moment. I prefer to have a full 5 men stun ultimate, than to have a composition which you need 5 Melees, to make your E relevant. They wished that her early wasn't as weak as it was with her old kit, but guess what, at this moment, she is exactly in the same spot, or even worst.
