Don't get me wrong, exploding on people (while singing if you use Reindeer Kog) is absolutely hilarious. And pretty strong, too. But it doesn't fit with the rest of Kog's kit in the slightest. They got rid of Zyra's, after all.
It is an admittedly amusing passive, but I agree in that it doesnt fit a marksmen that is supposed to be so long range (even more true with AP Kog), and that even if it was meant to punish divers, these are the kind of champs who tend to have the mobility to escape it.
TBH I miss Zyra's old passive lol its actually what got me my first solo quadra kill with her in S2,the passive was much stronger than people realized.
his passive is actually pretty good. if he gets focused in a Team fight and gets popped unlike many other adc he is able to do some damage and that damage isnt tiny.
It's just a revenge mechanism like Sion's.

If his passive were to be made into something useful in duels & teamfights, it means his W has to be gutted.
LOL ok get this idea... turn kog passive into sion passive, but makes kog melee for the zombie form, and he latches onto one champ. kinda like a rabid dog mauling a single target. so yes, it would do more damage over all to a single target, but it wont have the lifesteal affect like sions. think of it like sion passive meets kayn ult.
