Guinsoo's on MF thoughts?

You would think with her Q scaling 50% AP this would be good for her. Her autos with her passive would be better with rage blades passive. Am I missing something here?

You know, I hadn't even considered it, but it may not be a terrible idea. I am a pretty big fan of crit on MF, myself, but I realize it's not optimal with the current numbers. I imagine you could make an attack speed build work with lethal tempo.

She's not much of a speed based auto attacker though. So building stacks is hard. She more about the EAAQAAR

Most builds have you build 1 AS item anyway. So if I use this one for the passives and the Q scaling, I wonder how it would help. I see uzi sttart with Doran's ring. Why is this any different? I will try it and see how it feels. I could post back, and give some feedback if anyone is interested.

pressing R and one shotting their entire team with cleaver and armor pen is just better lol

I think one of the largest power spikes in Guinsoo's comes from the double-on-hit from the Guinsoo's Rage passive. That being said, a sneaky MF could easily proc Love Tap twice on someone every single auto by autoing the champion, autoing a minion, then autoing the champion again. I haven't tested this but I'd anticipate it's certainly possible as I see no reason Love Tap wouldn't be considered an on-hit for the purpose of Guinsoo's Rage.

That being said, she'd need at least 140%-150% of her base attack speed to make this viable - as she's only benefiting from the passive if she's able to attack a a champ, minion, champ, minion, etc. That requires twice the number of autos to get the same amount of autos on the champ - but when you consider the extra damage provided by Guinsoo's Rage+Love Tap, it'd probably even out to the same damage at 40-50% bonus AS. Guinsoo's provides 25% bonus attack speed, so if MF were to buy a RFC (30% AS) or a Phantom Dancer (45% AS) then this would easily work in her favor - given she has the mechanics to double-proc Love Tap by flashing minion attacks in between champion autos without inadvertently slowing her autos down.

Damn, I really wanna test this now.

I see posts saying ulting the team is better, and I agree, but I can still build leth items I usually build a RFC or static shiv so I would still have 3 other items with full ad and leth. I use swiftness boots. I can easily swap to berserker treads and not build the other AS item and build a IE or something.

I honestly don't see how this item is bad on MF.

Sasogwa12/13/2017, 5:22:37 PM1 votes

It's not necessarily bad, but it just feels like lethality, or even crit builds, are more consistent. And that if you want a ramping dps adc with rageblade, varus and kog'maw are kinda better

I hear what you guys are saying. Thank you for all your input. That's what I love about this game. You can play around with different builds, and try new things. Theory crafting is so much fun. I will give it a whirl and try it out. it can't hurt. You guys are right though about crit and leth. I will prolly end up build that. I like to Q a lot with her so I was thinking that could help early game with that. Its cheap and I can still build leth and crit items. Or even sell it late game for a leth or crit item. That is not the best way, but it's an option
