ADC mains fear-mongering 8.12?

There seems to be a lot of fear-mongering and misinformation going on about the new "bot lane meta." It might just be ADC mains whining and crying about their lane actually having diversity now and they have to learn to face different champions, but nonetheless, I see the "adc's are useless" "this meta is a mess" comments everywhere, especially on youtube videos.

"Adc's are useless." Adc's aren't useless. Where are they getting this information from? Lucian , MissFortune , and Ezreal , Draven etc are still topping the charts in statistics. They're still the most picked and the most well performed. These champions will never be obsolete because they have the ability to harass from afar, as long as you know proper positioning, you already have an advantage over a bruiser comp. If you cannot kite a bruiser, then ADC really isn't your role to begin with. But yeah, ADC's are useless Just because riot finally took away their ability to just dominate lane and lock a lane into being a ranged ADC only lane? Really?

"This meta is a mess." This meta is diverse. Instead of seeing the same champs over and over, we now get to experiment. We get to express ourselves. We don't have to debate our entire team when we choose a champion that "doesn't belong" in a certain lane.

The entire job of a balance team is to make it so that there is no meta. The more apparent the meta is in a game, the less exciting it is, the more robotic and flowchart it feels like.

I know how it feels to have a domain or element of yours suddenly invaded by different champions, but you just have to learn to face those champions. Take some time away from ranked and do some draft pick and try out some different champions. Trust me, It's not as bad as you think.

BUTTTTTT!!!! The only champion I do have a problem with is Irelia . She can legit go almost any role and is S+ in every: top lane, mid lane, and as an adc. Even faker is abusing the hell out of her to hit rank 1. Her gap closing and ultimate is just completely busted. So I can see if anyone is having trouble with that high tier monster, my condolences.

But yeah, I'd like to know some of you guys' opinions about the adc changes and maybe even just 8.12 as a whole.

I prefer crit and have continued playing MF with a crit based build while looking forwards to the buffs. I'm not sure why you're blanket labeling all adc mains to follow a specific narrative, but you'll find examples for anything if you look hard enough.

Crit ADCs are useless. This can be supported by the fact that if you look at Winrates, you see the following champions listed:

Quinn(Doesn't Build Crit; builds armor pen) Kayle Miss Fortune(Armor Pen) Veigar Mordekaiser Wukong Annie Cassiopia...

And then you finally, FINALLY hit Ashe except but, wait...

She's build BorTK first item and specing more into On-hit with Runaan's and ER.

So we keep going.

Draven(Lifesteal and armor pen) Aatrox Ekko Karthus Brand Swaine Irelia Pantheon Lucian(Rushing BoTRK into ER into BC; not Crit) Kalista(who is rush Bork, Runaans, and Guinsoos for on-hit) Yasuo Renekton Ezreal(not crit) Darius...

And finally our first actual crit ADC, Xayah. Xayah is the first crit ADC and she's got a 50.05% winrate compared to the other champions who have as high as 55-56% if you round up.

And the the rest of the Crit ADCs follow right after that, getting steadily lower and lower in WR's with Tristana being the lowest WR Crit ADC at 45%. Varus beats her out with a 43%. :/

I'll sum up the 8 season.

People calls me a troll when i ACTUALLY PICK FKIN JINX ON ADC. GOOD JOB RIOT.
