https://i.imgur.com/X46B7du.jpg This is an ALL ABOUT DIANA THREAD so Before you start Reading this know that in this post are MY OWN PERSONAL opinions about Diana and the improvements** I BELIEVE** she needs to get to her full potential as a Great champion and not just an 1 shot machine with Amazing splash arts

So..., According to the new video Released by Riot the lead Producer states that Riot Listens Closely to our Feedback and they love to see feedback from players who play the game on a massive scale so as a devoted Diana main here are my 2 cents (Hoping Riot will Read this)

Okay so first things first because i don't want bore you with a very long text In the beginning am gonna outline everything one by one so you can have some basic idea of the topic that will be discussed

First and foremost am going to start this out by saying this "Riot you need to seriously pay some attention to Diana and fix these issues i outline below"

  1. _A MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE UPDATE TO THE IN GAME MODELS ( I'll explain below why with some proof ) _
  2. New voice-lines and Taunts with Leona Taric and Pantheon and other Champions
  3. Bring Moonflair Spellblade Into Summoners Rift item 3170
  4. Revert Her Ult and her Shield DMG back to when Diana was released and buff Her Passive by 5% => (You are buffing Yasuo RIOT so you have no excuse on this)
  5. Make her Ult have AOE DMG
  6. (This is a BIG TOPIC) Since Diana's W (Her shield) is the only defensive mechanism she has available and nothing else make it so that the more enemy champions you have nearby you the higher the AP RATIO OF THE SHIELD AND DMG GETSOr just have the CD of the ability start when i press E not when all orbs Detonate => I'll elaborate further down this thread as to why this needs to become a thing (But if you are a Diana main you already know why)
  7. A Chibi figure to the store along site some Merch like other champions have
  8. A Diana Emote (Because Reasons)
  9. A Legendary and Project Skin

THE REASONS I BELIEVE THE IN GAME MODELS NEED TO BE UPDATED (PROOF)

Riot lets be true to one another for a moment here We this (Pictures Above) IN GAME content you mean to tell me that A MULTI BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY AND THE #1 MOST PLAYED GAME IN THE WORLD CANT Deliver Better Quality then this? (SERIOUSLY?)

And am just BARELY scratching the surface here Am not even going to mention other body parts or other stances and the fact that she has ZERO facial expressions because i don't want to overfill this post

So yeah i DO BELIEVE she needs a heavy Duty IN GAME UPDATE

THE SHIELD UPDATE

So this topic i believe needs to be addressed because its super frustrating when you main a champion such as Diana that she Is an all in Do or Die champion and you want to kill the ADC in the LATE GAME Team-fight and all the enemy Team Dives you and you have nothing to protect yourself with i mean think about it every other champion in League has some sort of escape like Jump ,Wall, Freeze, Stun or something Diana Has NOTHING she's just an 1 SHOT BURST ASSASSIN that goes in to clear out as many champions as she can and that's it so am like "am okay with that BUT give me something i can sustain myself in 1vs5 situations that i ulted the ADC and the whole team appeared for the bush and i cant escape" So i figured LOWER THE COOL-DOWN AND SCALE THE AP RATIO OF HER SHIELD BASED ON HOW MANY ENEMIES YOU HAVE AROUND YOU WHILE OR BEFORE I USE MY SHIELD OR MAKE THE CD START ONCE I ACTIVATED THE ABILITY NOT WHEN ALL SPHERES DETONATE Think about it Diana is a Diver at her core with no escape abilities (No windwalls no Tornado no Shields building up while doing the most basic thing in the game "moving" NOTHING) just one shield and that's it So according to my thinking and my humble experience with Diana that's the perfect solution i can figure out for her with her current kit

**LASTLY A MESSAGE FOR RIOT **

Please take into concentration what i just outlined here as my overall opinion as a 400k Diana MAIN AND UNDERSTAND THAT DIANA AS A CHAMPION HAS TREMENDOUS POTENTIAL and also PLEASE if you are gong to Create a Legendary skin for Diana Diana please do an event Like Riven and Yasuo had and have Leona Leona as her Rival :) https://i.imgur.com/z6p07FB.jpg

You point out that her facial expressions are lacking... that is actually intentional. LoL is played from an angled perspective with the game characters appearing around inch high on the screen when playing. This means that unnecessary details that do not have significant gameplay value are stripped from the characters. When you compare Diana, an adult character, to Zoe, a child character, there is a difference in facial detail due to the body proportions. A child's head is bigger relative to the body than an adults head relative to their body. This allows more detail on children's faces (and yordle's).

I do still think she needs a visual touch up and a gameplay update. I don't think a simple number balancing is gonna fix her problems though.

I think there's a generic problem with champions who are majorly restricted before level 6. Diana falls in that group of champions. Hence I'd like her kit to be modified in a way which made her more relevant pre-6.

Her thematic has to also be discussed. The power of the moon. How does it actually manifest itself in Diana's gameplay? Very poorly imo. Her kit is rather generic for having such a cool theme.

All in all I'm hoping she would receive a VGU... a major one would be a stretch tho. I could see a similar sized rework what Shen/Fiora received.

I could see some sort of sleep & execution mechanic on her. The power of the moon can be described beautiful, charming even. Certainly enough to make weak willed targets go to a deep trance right before the priestess of the moon serves the justice they deserve.

If the diver update that is said to come finally gets in patches, I'm really hyped to see Diana updated. She just feels like a bad akali right now.

Wish they would bring something creative to her ult like that ult they had before they scrapped it while making her.Like that exploding channel thing that sends a moon crashing into the rift. Would look awesome with leona ulting in tandem.

Akali has always been a beloved champion, but she hasn’t aged particularly well. Her assassin pattern is very all-or-nothing, so it can be difficult for her to succeed unless she snowballs off of early kills. We want to give her more options for success Alright I've played diana almost exclusively since her release so I can tell you that number buffs will just make a different problem. She has a similar role, kit, and issues to Akali. Their kits have no interesting options. Q - ranged damage, W/E (aoe cc/ aoe damage/ mediocre defense), R (only movement option is a dash that targets enemies) So their cycle is basically Q, R, AOE (did you kill them?) try to stick to them, but reserve R to catch an escape. Repeat. So they either deal enough damage, with little to no room for counter-play, or they don't deal enough damage, and they have to either retreat or take some real risks. they both NEED new kits.

You cant Really Change Diana's kit and if you could what would it be? Diana is A Fighter/Diver Played as an Assassin In mind with Assassin Items and her Kit does alot of burst Dmg (Diana is Defined by her burst Dmg take that out and you don't have a champion anymore) So if you change the kit what will you have A tank Fighter Like River ?? Plus akali has her Shrout to survive Think and if so Escape in a 1vs5 Situation Diana Doesn't have anything if you jump on to kill the ADC and the whole team dives you Immediately after you are done and everything is on CD you are dead But akali is not See what am saying here Plus the suggestion i gave on my post about her shield it the most amazing gift Riot Can give to Diana players [sg-ahri-2]

Wow, that in-game face is beautimous. No, you bring up a EXTREMELY fair point that she needs a VGU. I agree, her shields need at least a 40% AP ratio. Now, these next couple of parts may seem mildly... pointed and strong, but I don't mean to come off the wrong way, I'm merely saying what I think. As a Jhin main and an avid fan of Ionia, I'm just going to get Project skins out of the way. The Project skin line is supposed to take place in a Dystopia Ionia. You've probably already figured out my problem with a Project: Diana skin then. Now I realize that there is a Project: Leona skin, but I'm going to be honest, it looks way too chunky, and generally, distasteful. Now with this latest batch, I realize the only Ionian was Jhin, but to be fair Vi fit the style fairly well and the Vayne skin was beautiful. Now, my biggest worry is that they would make a skin for a non-Ionian that really didn't come on par with the other skins, and with Diana that case is extreme. Diana is a champ that is all about being sleek and quick. All of her skins show off her abilities exceptionally well. But I feel that if Riot did a skin on her that was Project, it wouldn't look right. As a after thought, if they made an Legendary skin for her that was a Project skin, they could probably make it quite astonishing. After all, they proved that with Vayne. And since it is a different timeline from the mainstream tieme line of League, they could have Diana and Leona both be part of the rebel side of Project. To be fair to Yasuo players, he really wasn't nearly as good as people thought he was before Conqueror and still isn't great. He's okay, and I think the reason they may be buffing him is because of how much of the community enjoys/plays Yasuo. But anything that I didn't touch on, I have no problem with. Have a good one!

Well seeing as the first change they gave her in a long time made her feel shitty to play I don't have much/any hope for Riot doing anything good to her. Literally tacked on Lee Sin passive to a champion that wants to press QWRER all at the same time. Thanks for the one time attack speed buff. At least Lee has the AD to hit minions/jungle creeps with his attack speed.

Anyways i feel the same way Diana does need a rework and that 3d model you found online looks pretty clean i love it. She is all in then die, riot said it them self she is very one dimensional. I know changing up her kit would be kinda difficult but i mean the irelia rework comes out tomorrow and look at her she is amazing now Irelia
