Quick twitch/sated devour question

Statikk Shiv's charging is considered an on-hit effect (not shown in item description), meaning that each 5 man-hit would give 50 charges, and every second hit will give 100 charges. Since Statikk Shiv only procs when there's 100 charges, though, Shiv will only proc lightning every 2nd autoattack. The first proc may take 3 autoattacks (+50, +100 (50 wasted), proc).

As such, if you can hit 5 people, devourer is probably not really worth it. The truth is that you're far more likely to hit 2, maybe 3 champions at a time. Devourer can provide real benefits in this situation (proccing Shiv every 3rd attack instead of every 4th or 5th attack).
