With the recent patch there was a change that went out relating to Zilean's Time bomb ability. "Fixed a bug where Time Bomb's explosion ignored spell shields", and the reason they gave was "Ultimately this was a change we had to make for clarity - sorry Zilean!". Well that is all fine and good but if you are going to go around nerfing champions for clarity sake you might as well not discriminate. Both Vladimir and Zed have ults that function similar to Time bomb, you apply a debuff and it detonates at a later time, and both function the same way time bomb did, you could block the initial placement but not the detonation. Yet Zilean is the only one nerfed "for the sake of clarity"? As much as i hate to say it, because i love both Zed and Vlad, these two champions need their abilities to be changed "for the sake of clarity" as well.

It's probably because time bomb would also ignore spell shields of players that weren't targets of the initial cast, meaning they had no opportunity to spell shield it at all. Zed and Vladimir only affect champion that were also targeted with the initial cast.
