The new Yorick is different enough to warrant a "Traditional" skin.

Riot in the past has said that the reason they moved away from making traditional skins is because they have been trying to incorporate the look of the old into the new. While yes his new look does reflect the same theme, kinda, as pre VU he looks different enough to deserve a traditional skin. He no longer has his awesome skull lantern hanging over him, the tattered cloths, multi colored ghouls, hunchback appearance, his mottled/bumpy green skin, or even his hammer/pick and bucket. Now he looks like generick pale blue shadow isle guy #3. I'm not saying i hate the new look, it actually looks really good, but it doesn't actually look like yorick. I feel like this is a drastic enough change to his appearance that he deserves a traditional skin.

They said they don't make traditional skins anymore because they prefer to put the work that would be required to make them into the actual rework. I mean Sion looks nothing like his original self and he didn't get one.

Also keep in mind that traditional skins simply give the current version a skin that looks similar to the old one,so that would limit the possibilities for a traditional skin since skins tend to keep the general shape of the champion. So even a traditional yorick would for example have the black mist cape,ghouls who all share the same model(would be really confusing if different colored ghouls attack you even if they are all the same) and he likely couldn't get too many extra items that would cause his silhouette to change that much.

To be fair I kinda want a pre shadow isle yorick. He was supposely the wrench described in hercarims lore, so I'm kinda intrested if Riot wouls make that skin.
