Make the HP/Mana Regen on Machete Kick in Whilst in the Midst of a CRAB BATTLE

Yeah.

So a lot of junglers are struggling to sustain. I can think of an easy (though slightly risky) way to help with that. Presently fighting the Scuttlecrab doesn't trigger the HP/MP regen on jungle items. If it DID then the Scuttlecrab would be a great pit-stop for junglers who have issues with sustain. Maul that crab and get some health back before tackling the next camp. Because the crab is exposed in the river that would make it a somewhat risky target, not to mention a contested one.

Are you going to take the easy path and just recall?

Or are you going to have a CRAB BATTLE?

don't include a third option as amazing as walrus, it will get my vote almost every time

I always include a walrus-related option in my polls. It's kind of my thing.

Stabbing something in the back while it runs is a "battle" now?

Yes.

The PVPers in WoW and every wow-clone seem to think so.

This is obviously some sort of reference I'm missing.

I'm referencing the fact that (aside from the obligatory zergfests) 95% of open-world pvp boils down to the avid pvp'ers in maxed out pvp gear camping players in low level zones, thus their only option is to flee like the river crab .

I like it but walrus always has my vote

I would vote yes, but walrus.

I was tempted to go for the Walrus...

But my serious side won... :c

Yes, CRAB BATTLE should activate the jungle item regen.

I like it.

Somebody get this guy a job at Riot.

Regen on CRAB BATTLE would make the crab a higher priority target for any type of jungler since it grants not only vision, but would deny the enemy jungler the chance to heal up before launching a gank or heading back into their own jungle.

You can't go wrong with Crab Battle Sorry Walrus

I'm curious to hear the thoughts of the people who voted no.

Why do you hate jungle Wukong so much?

What's stopping it from becoming OP on champions who don't need the sustain?

I think we can find better solutions. New jungle is meant to be tough.

I'm pretty sure you just answered your own question. This would have a negligible impact on champions who can already stay topped off through their whole jungle clear like Panth and Wolfy and anyone who knows how to abuse ranged Krug-stun cheese. It would be a godsend to champions who are struggling, though.

Cindikle1 votes

So those champions who can already clear easier will just take it sooner. This is a solution only asking for problems

Nah.

Taking the Crab requires a decent investment of time due to its habit of scuttling and provides less gold and XP than the normal camps in addition to being far less safe. The less safe part is a pretty big deal. Wolfy would probably prefer to continue farming his jungle so he can hit 6 faster rather than molesting crabs. Panth would rather be gankin' or making a dragon attempt as soon as he hits 3. The crab would be a far higher priority to... well... folks who actually need the thing.

Also, this would probably lead to more team skirmishes over CRAB BATTLES due to its increased utility to the jungler.

And we want to see more skirmishes, right?

Did someone say Crab Battle?

CRAB BATTLE all the way. Voted yes.

No.

There are some Champions you could jungle with before 4.20 that you can't jungle with anymore. People have to learn to deal with that. I used to jungle Riven all the time in S4, loved it. Can't really do that effectively now. Do I whine about it? No. I just jungle any one of:

Nunu Fiddlesticks Trundle Sejuani Warwick Olaf

And that's just to name the one's I've tried since the patch. I could also go with:

Malphite Hecarim Zed XinZhao Vi Skarner Nidalee Elise

I'm sure there's many more but I'll stop there.

If your jungler has sustain problems and you don't like it, pick a different jungler.

I can do a full clear on Jungle Kog'maw without having to back by kiting monsters. There are plenty of weird ranged champions who can jungle right now if you know what you're doing. But opening up a greater strategic depth of melee junglers by increasing the utility of the newest, most awesome jungle camp would be bad?

There's no whining going on in this topic. Only an appeal to Riot's latest buzzword to add even more meaningful choices to a jungler's route.
