Snowdown Map, am I color blind?

With the original Summoner's rift, there is a striking contrast between the dark elements (background/texture/map) and the white-hue'd elements (team colors, mouse, mouse clicks). Easy on the eyes.. for the most part.

With the Snowdown Map, because there is no inherent contrast setting option within League of Legends itself, there is only very slight differentiation from the now new white elements (background/texture/map) mixed with the white-hue'd elements (same as above).

What do I mean by white-hue'd? There are varying shades of colors, ranging from light (almost resembling the color white) to dark e.g., light blue and dark blue.

What I'm trying to say is that looking at the Snowdown Map is like looking at shades of white on top of white. Very harsh on my eyes.

Suggestion: Add in-game contrast customization settings and more color schemes | or | adjust color contrast for next year's Snowdown Map.
