I have been playing mid and noticed that a lot of games don't make it to the late game where certain champions shine. There are also champions with terrible laning phases that have a hard time snowballing into the late game. What are some champions to play mid lane that have a good laning phase and can snowball into later in the game as well?

Ahri, Syndra, Fizz, Lux, Zed, Talon are all good too during the mid game.
