Is split pushing coming back?

With and , as well as mobile champions for easy escapes, is split pushing gonna become a thing again? The mobile and or ranged champions siege while the tank and support each buy these and wreck the tower while providing utility to sieging allies. This is especially true with ranged top laners becoming more popular (in my experience anyway, which is very limited). You also see gank heavy junglers now, and I remember not too long ago when taking a turret was ganking for the few who could do it.

So does this mean we'll be seeing the old splitpushing team comps, but newer?
