List of new gameplay ABAM modes to try
I've been creating an official list of a lot of random abam modes lately and people seem to like them, even going so far as to say "Riot should make more modes like these." So here I am, the modes I have for custom All Blind All Mid are:
Lore ABAM: Each team can only be comprised of characters who are affiliated with the same general city/region (popular vote wins, otherwise first pick decides). A family that lacks enough members for a team can join with any other family. These include the families:
Freljord Familiy:
Zaun Family:
Piltover Family:
Bandle City Family:
Bilgewater Family:
Ionia Family:

Demacia Family:
Noxus Family:
Shadow Isles Family:
Shurima Desert Family:
Void Family:
Targon Family:
Voodoo Lands Family:
Kumungu Jungle Family:
Celestial Family:
Twisted Treeline Family:
Ancient Family:
Monolith Family:
Urtistan Family:
Great Barrier Family:
Guardian's Sea Family:
Notes: Rengar and Gnar were inferred to belong to Kumungu, even though it isn't explicitly stated. Rengar originates from somewhere south of the Great Barrier but it is not specified where. However, was fathered by a successful hunter and resides in the jungle, so it is likely he is most affiliated with the jungle, Kumungu.
Gnar is a yordle. But, even though in the past Gnar migrated north and became frozen in Freljord, he likely originated from the jungle. After being unfrozen, he has become friends with those in the yordle city right next to the Kumungu Jungle, Bandle City, and it is probably not a coincidence that those two regions are right next to each other. However, he does not currently demonstrate the temperament to be a citizen, so he likely also spends much of his time in the Kumungu jungle as well.
Brand is in the ancient family because its appearance is only the result of the body it coincidentally inhabits. It is actually a flame elemental that was referred to from ancient times.
Ivern was a tough one to categorize because he HAS to go somewhere. It was between Ancient Family, the Freljord Family and Kumungu Family. I decided that because Ivern is defined by its current powers and disposition, that the elemental tree-like entity that biologically merged with Ivern's former body is ancient, the forests that occupy Runeterra are ancient, that he should be put in the Ancient Family category. He carries an ancient being and a connection to an ancient time, similar to brand.
Sona was placed in the Demacia family even though she was raised in Ionia, though not necessarily born in Ionia. She was also not treated particularly well in Ionia while growing up and eventually left it for Demacia as part of a new family, making a far bigger impact in Damacia than in Ionia.
Fiddlesticks, Shaco and Nocturne were all placed in the Twisted Treeline Family. Even though they appear evil, they do not appear to have any regard for the undead, ruling out the Shadow Isles as their affiliation. They all seem particularly adapted to take advantage of dark forests, feel comfortable in them and are often shown to reside in them. Nocturne in particular is associated with the treeline as he appeared in that region first, and since he is "friends" with Fiddlesticks and Shaco, it is likely those two are also affiliated with the Twisted Treeline.
Animal ABAM: Only animal characters are allowed, which includes known animals, yordles, voidlings and hybrids. It does NOT include non-hybrid humans, elementals, animated objects, robots or plants.

Assassins ABAM: Title says it all.

Notes: I definitely don't agree with a portion of the champions on this list, but this list is according to Riot, except for Diana who I added because she handles like an assassin and she was in the blood moon game mode which is suppose to be only assassins.
Hookers ABAM: Only melee champions that can pull other champs towards them are allowed.

Knockups Only ABAM: Only champions that can send other champions into the air with a basic ability, by any amount, are allowed (anything can that proc a yasuo ult). A special exception is made for Malphite because he rocks.

Modern ABAM: Only the newest half of champions are allowed.

Legacy ABAM: Only the oldest half of champions are allowed.

Pets Only ABAM: Only characters that can control/create creatures are allowed.

Marksman ABAM: Pretty straight forward, any character with "marksman" in their roles. However, that does not stop you from choosing to go AP with a particular adc. This does not include champs who can toggle between being melee.

Melee ABAM: You can ONLY play characters who are melee, NO ranged champs allowed whatsoever, whether they be adc, tank, assassin or w/e. Hybrid characters who toggle between being permanently ranged such as Elise, Nidale or Jayce are not allowed. However, champions who are naturally melee and happen to have an ability that modifies the range of basic attacks such as Nasus' ult, GP's gun or Kayle's E are fine.

Mage ABAM: Only characters with "mage" as one of their roles can be played.

Assassins ABAM: This list is according to Riot, except for Diana who I added because she handles like an assassin and was included in the Blood Moon game mode.

High Skillcap ABAM: Only characters with a 3 out of 3 skillcap are allowed:

No Clicks ABAM: This includes only champions who do not have any point-and-click abilities that automatically target who they are clicked on or abilities that automatically seek out the enemies on their own, outside of autoattacks. The same is also true for helpful abilities such as shields and heals that effect players other than yourself (they are not allowed either). However, AOE and basic attack modifiers are also allowed.

Half-Life ABAM: This consists of champions that aren't quite human or animal; the champions that are undead and spirit-like, robotic, elemental, plant-like and so on.

Girls Only ABAM: Only characters with a female gender (or unknown gender) can be played.
Skillshots Only Version 2: You can use any champion you want, but you can only use abilities that are skillshots.
SoloQ-W-E ABAM: You can only level up ONE ability and your ultimate, that's it, you must choose only one ability to have throughout the game, but you can also only level up your ultimate.
Elimination ABAM: Players face off one at a time or two at a time, either taking towers or killing each other while benched team mates stay at their base. Killing a player causes that player to be permanently eliminated from the match and the next person in line takes their place. Destroying a tower causes the lowest health, active opponent to be eliminated.
Commander ABAM: Each team nominates a commander (otherwise it is chosen by pick priority). The commander on each team is the ONLY player who is allowed to buy items and use summoner spells, and can only possess a total of 3 items at any point during the game.
