I actually think taliyah is decent

She isnt a superhero or anything, but shes got a really nice low cool down on her Q, the circle passive makes it a bit better for the enemy but she does ALOT of damage if she lands all of those on you, and even if she doesnt it just clears the wave infront of her. Its pretty hard to get near her because of all her cc, which also does quite some damage.

Shes not OP, but shes got some decent strengths.

In terms of power she's perfect, the only thing that holds most players back is a lack of roaming and over focus onto her Q circles.

Though i will admit that her W still feels clunky. It forces your play pacing down, and makes it award to transition from your other abilities to it. I feel they should make it vector casting, but hide the directional arrow from enemies (if it's actually visible).

Pretty much what you said, shes definitely not under-powered. She packs alot of damage with her Q and makes the lane tricky to win.

I have tried her jungle, and I think that it would work. She'd be kinda like ww or nocturne, and would mostly depend on her ult to gank, but still. She seems to work in the jungle.

yes and no.

shes sitting somewhere in between "support capable of gamechanging plays" similar to bard, and "classic mage". without excelling at either.

as a support, her q is basically worthless, and she has to work mostly off her w and ult.

as a mage, shes kinda playing with half a kit. she has almost 0 kill potential with just her 3 basic abilities.

i think she just needs a better e ability to be honest. its just not appealing. neither the animation looks great, nor does even a w into a minefield make her feel impactful.

and thematically its awkward. why exploding rock mines? i mean if it had been rock spikes coming out of the ground, that would at least have looked cool.
