I climbed out of bronze and here are some actual tips

I find that alot of the guides out there just say get gud and carry and that really isnt useful because HOW THE FUCK DO I GET GUD AND CARRY

  1. Try playing normals with higher elos, golds and plats, if you go to custom games you can sometimes join their games. you will probably get stomped on, but you will learn something from their strategies
  2. Objectives, everything you do, should be done to some how get one step closer to their nexus. You need to learn how to prioritize one thing over the other. The other day when we had two inhibitors burned out, I, Volibear and Zac were the only ones alive, and the enemy team was ACED. I was working on nexus turrets and he left to go drag. That isnt a wise idea. You want to focus on ending
  3. Gank the winning lanes, early game Up to 5 minutes (pre level 6) Max, you may chose to gank a losing lane to turn the tides.
  4. If a lane seems 100% unresponsive to your ganks, dont gank them, they can risk getting you killed.
  5. If you are winning your lane, dont go try to push a losing lane for too long, keep your lane pressure going, alert your team, ward up as much as you can, watch your map, and push. Let your team know if 2-3 people come for you, they shouldnt come to try to help, instead they should push the living shit out of another lane
  6. Dont team fight if your minion waves arent all pushed past the half way point. This semi-ensures that if you get aced they dont gain much.
  7. Ping danger in the lanes for MIA, dont ping MIA since low elos dont watch
  8. There should be no down time as far as gold income goes, keep earning gold
  9. If youre a laner and theres a nice juicy minion wave near by dont waste your time farming gromp.
  10. Dont stress kills too hard. Dont dive unless the kill is a brain dead guarentee easy, Its only 300 gold, and if they are low they are probably going to recall and be behind in farm anyway.

Realize not all games are winnable. But Bronze is certainly easy enough to make decent plays in. Keep trying dont give up.

Would completely and utterly disagree with point 1. You're not going to learn anything from spending an entire game in a position (multiple kills behind from the start, very little cs, out-coordinated) that you will never be in on ladder.

You are completely wrong. Consistently playing with and against better players will improve how you play. It will improve the way you think about trading in lane. It will help you learn your champion or role limitations. It will help you in A LOT of different ways if you CONSISTENTLY play against them.

You have to remember the guy who commented is bronze III, low elo stuff. Some of them dont want to learn how to improve. But like ArrowSinger said, playing games with plats and golds will teach you what youre doing wrong, and how to improve in your lane.

They dont make many mistakes and they capitalize on your mistakes. Playing with relatively higher elo is a good decision to make in order to learn. Plats and golds arent gods at league either, my girlfriend was bronze for a while and could beat a gold /plat in midlane 9/10 times, she just didnt know how to carry the game, at the time. When she implemented the other strategies she got to silver I in a week.

I've played 15 games of ranked this year. I don't play this game enough to rank up, for the most part League is terrible and unfun. But I can 100% assure you that people learn a lot faster when they're not frustrated and not 0/10. You can't do anything in this game from behind.

I get where you're coming from, but the idea is that you go into with an open mind. When you see how they play, you will get utterly destroyed at first, but you will eventually learn why are you getting destroyed so bad. You will see what you are doing wrong that they are capitalizing on. You will see what they do wrong that other people capitalize on and you can in turn capitalize. You can see when people engage on certain champions and how they do it. You have to actually analyze how you're playing, though.

Or you could not waste your time on that and try to get better in a fair gaming environment, where you'll be able to see immediately when you're improving and profit from that.

I consider this advice in the same ilk as someone telling people to go watch pro players. It's just not going to do anything for most people. Practice makes perfect. The best way to rank up is to play ranked.

Like all of your posts ensure that you live up to your summoner name. It's amazing. You are so invalid.

Hey, your summoner name matches you too! :O We need a hashtag for this phenomenon.

Then think of it as another way, I'm Bronze. My friend is newer to the game than I and not as good. By playing against me, he sees the "flow" that I have. He realizes what mistakes he makes that allow me to beat him. He is getting better as a result. And while I'm bronze, I'd say the difference in our skill level is the difference between if i was to play with a plat player or whatever. I literally would let him get me to half health sitting their taunting/laughing etc and then kill him, that's how bad the skill difference is. But playing against me, he is noticing certain things such as why I am able to punish him so badly for the particular mistakes he makes. I know anecdotal evidence isn't the best, but the idea is this strategy works really well. Like I said, i get where you are coming from. i do. I'm not saying this will work for everyone, but if you go in with an open mind and analyze your plays I'm confident it will. The thing about playing in bronze is that your opponents make REALLY REALLY stupid mistakes that are easy to capitalize on and doing so will not improve you in anyway. I.E. the Sion who would open every trade with his slow into his Q. I would side step the minion and his Q(because it would immediately follow it) and attack him while his skills were down. Higher ranked players would realize after the first couple times or two that it simply isn't working an adopt another strategy. Or, they would realize that if they don't land the slow, they shouldn't follow up with the Q regardless. Both strategies work, it just depends on your mindset.

It doesn't matter what plat players are capable of doing to a Bronze player. You play in Bronze, you get good enough to get out of Bronze. You play in Silver, you get good enough to get out of silver. That a plat player is better than you isn't relevant until you reach Gold 1.

the Anarchit3cht1 votes

No I get entirely what you're saying and I even agree with it. I just think that some points, being better than someone else bronze doesn't teach you much. THey make the same stupid mistakesyou do. Now if you can learn to not make those mistakes and punish the lessoft less noticeablemistakes of a higer tier player, it will do youbetter.

My tip for carry bronze:

Play Top lane

Stomp your lane opponent and keep pushing top, if they send people- kill them. Play teemo or nasus, they are very good if enemies start sending people. Teemo cause of shrooms, Nasus cause Nasus.

Mid also can be good but nah, bot lane will come and tax u. Actually whole team will come mid in 15 mins of the game.

Number 1 is optional, but you can get a grasp on how to win differently. Though of course we all know plat+ players sometimes play like bronzies because some people just don't give a shit when playing normals, so it's not at all reliable. Learn? Not necessarily. Seeing different ways to play and win? Definitely.

As a welfare gold player, I find all of these still applicable in such games, especially number 7. Probably higher up too, we all know the MIA ping isn't loud enough though everyone should check the damn map as often as possible.
