Do you hate Soraka because you don't know how to counter her, or do you hate her because she feels oppressive even if you are countering her?

Because if you know what you're doing you can deal with her heals quite effectively (Executioner's Calling/Moral Reminder, Morellonomicon, Ignite, etc), and in lane target her with your poke to reduce her ability to heal her ADC without bringing herself dangerously low. In teamfights, if you have any spare CC try to throw it on her, slowing down her late game heals for even a second works wonders towards reducing her teamfight presence.

Also, the super healing cheese build is getting nuked next patch, so Raka players will have to return to using more standard builds that don't cheese out massive healing.

The way you beat her is to target her in lane instead of the adc. She can't heal herself if she can't hit her Q's.

Focus the Healers.

She can't provide any peel for her ADC and can easily be taken down. Her only reliable poke is her Q and even then it doesn't do a lot of damage. Pome her in laning rather than the ADC when you have the chance, it is basically 1v2.
