Cassiopeia Rework Concept (@ RiotRepertoire)
Hi guys, Here are some ideas I would like the community (and RiotRepertoire) to seriously consider in the Cassiopeia rework:
Passive:
- Lethal Venin: Cassiopeia applies a poison stack to an opponent for every 3 (?) seconds she poisons them. Each stack will increase/amplify Cassiopeia's damage. Poison from different abilities or different casts of the same ability will stack.
Q (Noxious Blast):
- Remove 20% movement speed buff
- Mana cost should be decreased slightly
W (Miasma): No Change
E (Twin Fangs):
- Add movement speed buff every time Twin Fang is used (can be static, or scale with ranking- a good number would be around 10-15%) Remove poison amplification (Twin Fangs no longer amplifies the poison from the other abilities)
- Add poison renewal/refresh (Instead, every time Cassiopeia uses Twin Fangs, the poison duration is refreshed)
- Mana return should be increased to 2% or mana cost should be decreased on subsequent E casts (as like her old passive)
R (Petrifying Gaze):
- In addition to current effects, all targets hit have reduced magic resistance (10%/15%/20% ? or change numbers)
Here are my thoughts with this concept: This doesn't actually change Cassiopeia's current ability/playstyle that much- she is still a lean mean poison kiting machine. It actually gives everyone what they want- in fact, it might even make her a higher risk, higher reward champ than she is now.
- Many players have wanted Cassiopeia's playstyle to revolve around her poisons more- and this does just that, especially with a passive that does increased damage based on the status of poisoned opponents.
- Adding the movement speed buff to her E gives more utility to her E, besides what is more befitting to a scary snake chasing you to bite you and getting faster and faster with each bite? The drawback of this will be that her mobility is impacted when she tries to escape- she no longer can run away just by hitting her Q on her opponents.
- The damage amplification was removed from her E, but is shifted to renewing her poison duration. This takes away some of her burst, but actually still extends the poison damage she does. To compensate for her lack of burst, magic resistance reduction is added to her ult and damage amplification is added in her passive.
