the new dot passive on machete and the dot passive from smiting frog dont kill. they only will bring the monster down to 1. well...champ dots WILL kill monsters. so if Darius' bleed or twitch's poison is on the monster it can hit 1 hp from the machete dots and then die to the leashers dots.

that's why when i play darius i leash, but i make sure that i leave in time so by the time the mob has low hp, my passive is already gone. or just not leash.

you mean junglers can't time their last attack

If you're jungling you have smite. Yes you can't use it early and save those few seconds of smite cooldown in that case but would you rather miss the few seconds or the mob itself? Just wait a bit instead of using smite the second you can.

This applies to pretty much every champion who leashes with some type of DOT at level one.

Try leaving so that by the time the buff dies the DOT wears off. Common sense is apparently hard.

so tell him not to leash i'll have my darius leash and not be dumb about my smite and have a way easier first clear.

Guys, in the new jungle, smiting a mob when it is within range of death will bring it down to 1 hp.

You completely misunderstood what the original poster said.

Anyways, I think this is hilarious.

Well, usually the jungler should be smart enough to attack the mob after the DoT expires , use summoner 11 to secure the kill, or just use an ability/enhanced autos while the monster is about to die.
