Azir Masteries.

Right this is really confusing me. What masteries should you go an Azir? If you go 18/12 you get the best keystones but lose out on 5% cdr meaning you have 35% at level 18 with scaling CDR runes, meaning you might just have to go straight AP runes and get 2 20% cdr items

If you go 12/18 You can keep the scaling CDR runes but miss out on the best keystone mastery for Azir (Deathfire Touch) and miss out on some magic pen.

Also which is better on Azir, Natural talent for more AP or Vamprism for the Spell-Vamp?

I was thinking if I go 18/12 get vamprism and build WOTA on him I could make him a pseudo ADC but that probably won't work...

What I've been doing recently with Azir is going this build path item 3165 item 3020 item 3101 item 3116. I upgrade into item 3115 last since besides a small AP boost it gives almost no other advantage plus 30% CDR is tons for Azir. At the moment I'm trying vampirism masteries with spell vamp quints and going to build WOTA to see how it works out. Not too sure though, straight AP might be better.

EDIT: Yeah it seems just going straight AP is much better, no spell vamp.

I'm still doing a bunch of testing, but so far the only mastery keystone azir soldiers proc is the heal every 4 seconds in the 3rd tree. Not sure if it's a bug and he's supposed to, but nothing else works with soldiers AA. Thunder Lord works only from full combo but for very little damage, meaning QER - proc, AA don't proc it. Death fire isn't even proccing from abilities like Q(unless it's such a small amount that it doesn't animate the number.

One item you should consider that's actually awesome now on him is rageblade. With nashors you hit close to aa cap. It's gross, and cheap considering everything else is about 3k+ for mages now.

The "late game" is gone, don't think a match will last past 20 mins. Start adjusting your build for early and cheap power spikes. For 3k you get rageblade and stinger which is a huge powerspike, the ad from rage will help push a tower, and on first enemy back You can take both mid towers in 1 minion wave which is also gross. Unfortunately that's what azir is becoming season 6. A tower pusher to get new lane minions faster.
