But how relevant are you late-game? I've been finding that Sion, outside his cool initiate, just doesn't change the course of a teamfight.

He is a cc nightmare. However, the cc is hard to land at times. I find he can be freakishly strong in the right situation.

His CC isn't very reliable on it's own. But it's extremely strong for follow up CC. As long as he isn't your main source of CC in a teamfight he should do fine. Outside of following up his ult's CC anyway.

I'm still surprised he isn't considered a top pick. If he is worth picking top lane, he is FAR stronger jungle. The HP from camps get you ludicrously tanky REALLY fast.

I know this doesn't mean anything, but uhh, being a top lane Sion is actually pretty cool, as he got a winrate of 51.82% Just check out all my top lane Sion matches, it's just awesome, all wins!
