So I'm farming and beating my lane 3-0 ahead by 20 cs and then...

The bot lane who is slightly losing decides they want to come mid, they push all my minions and take them-- they then push the turret and take it while leaving Jinx and Janna bot to push 2 turrets and I ask them why they left their lane? They said "LOL getting objectives you bronze." Last I checked 2 turrets are more than 1.

Thats the cardboard tier standard. as soon as one bot turret goes down the lane is abandoned until minions reach a turret so everybody can go mid and do the dance.

Bronze 5 here- genuinely curious.

What's to gain from staying in a losing lane, though? The reality is that it's unlikely in this Elo that your jungle or mid is going to come help you in the next 10 minutes. Maybe the jungler will come by, walk past a ward, and walk out again. You're not CSing well, the tower is going down anyway, your support is probably feeding. Why stay? If you go mid, you can at least get some gold from the turret and be a little safer from 4 man ganks.

You stay not to win your lane, its probably already lost.. but you stay to continue to allow lanes to gain a larger edge over their opponent and eventually someone will come help you-- hopefully. Just farm away and try not to get too far behind. Don't continue fighting and feeding over and over of course, but don't ruin the person who is the furthest ahead and allow their team all easy 300g because you just don't feel like sitting bot anymore.

You stay in the lane if the price of leaving is too high. Sure you might be getting zoned hard, but unless you are against a Draven/Leona lane, you will at least be able to get 40% of the CS and 90% of the EXP. But if you leave, you'd better be sure that they won't just push to your inhib, AND that you will be able to trade towers with them mid at the very least.
