am i just bad at this champ?

so ive been playing vlad a lot lately and i had never played him before. i always d realy well in the early game, even though vlad's early game is garbage. but even if i do really well, i aways get feeding teams so i lose. is it because im the one doing something wrong or am i just really unlucky? im fairly new to mid-lane so im not rlly used to roaming. is it cuz i dont help team? am i bad at vlad or just unlucky?
