First three picks need the ban options, not the last three.

Last pick wasn't shit because you couldn't ban, it was shit because that meant you most likely got the bitch seat of support.

And on the flipside, first pick having ban power wasn't bad either, it was that they had the monopoly on bans.

Right now first pick is by far the worst situation to be in because you're in the prime slot to get counterpicked, but have no ban power. This leads to first couple picks taking those unfun to play against super safe champs, or OP FOTM champs to get the edge in champ select by brute force, instead of smartly using bans and playing what you want.

I'd rather have everyone have a ban, but Rito seems to think that'd be bad because certain champs would have to ACTUALLY get fixed if individual bans weren't so valuable, since it'd be easier for certain champs (cough cough ) to be like ye olde 93% ban rate Kass

you no logner get any advantage in being first or second pick.

You do not get to call your position, and you do not get to ban away something that might hard counter what you play. The only safe thing you can do is ask someone if they are willing to trade champs with you so you can pick say a the jungler wh ois less likely to get counter picked then a top or mid.

First and second picks are the ones who have to contend with the hell of being counter picked.

Or do you like seeing pressure on your top or mid that might otherwise not be there?
