How Do I Get Better?

I'm so tired of being terrible at a game I basically devote my life too... I want to know how to get better; I legit tried everything i could find and I still get shit on in most games unless the enemy player is significantly worse

There isn't a single formula for success but a key component is this: If you keep doing the same thing in every "practice" game, you won't improve efficiently.

Play few champions, so that you play them to their full potential. You need to know how much damage you can dish out at every point in the game, when are your powerspikes, when to be passive, when to be agressive. Once you have your own champion in and out, you can focus on other skills, such.as last hitting, map awareness, lane control, trading with your lane oponnent correctly to build lead.

well you have a ranked game a week ago as 0/10/0 6 level ryze with 15 cs so maybe you should consider stopping inting.

play as much as you possibly can. Do not focus on winning or losing, only improving your gameplay. On games where you have an AFK or troll, play even harder. See if you can win 3v5, 4v5, 1v5. Nothing should matter but improving your gameplay as much as you can. Try different strats, different picks and set ups. Play until you can recite the tooltips from memory. Play until everything becomes 2nd nature.

You have to do lots of practice, there is no better way to get better than just learning. Get caught by skill shots a lot? (blitz/thresh hooks, ahri ball, etc etc) then learn to step left and right, watch their animations and their placement. Are they trying to get closer to you than they were before? They're probably getting you into their range to attack. Step away or to the side, or behind minions if it's blitz/thresh. I'm looking at your match history and you're not that bad honestly, you have 3 mast 7 champs (that I can see) What do you think is the biggest thing that holds you back from learning? Do you make the same mistakes? Do you not ward enough? I'll try to give you as much advice as I can! I'm no pro but I have gotten much better from when I first played!

  1. Mindset. I've accepted I won't climb because I really don't care about care about climbing. But I truly believe that if I worked and played to improve (not just win, but improve) I could get to plat.

  2. CS. Damn straight. The only skill I will ever say people should get good at (even when playing for fun) is CSing. Get that gold and XP. Most other advice is too champion/player/ELO/match specific to matter. But CS? That's always useful.

Find your favorite champ type like bruisers or adc or tanks. Then find the role or roles u like. Spam in norms with 1 to 3 champs that meet the previous rules. For example i do Swain, jax and maokai for Ad, Ap and tank for every team comp. Jax and mao can jungle where i flex amumu or elise to cover ap so if they go yas mid we get some ap for balanced comp. But at first just focus on 1 champ then a backup if banned. Thus allows you to focus on hame 13356% more than a champ pool of 20 champs(why most people stay bronze). They focus on micro the whole time instead of macro and that is the result, go nowhere. So play a fun champ that you can play braindead so you learn matchups, power spikes, and objective priority. For example i can splitpush with jax with sheen and phage to 2 v 1 most ganks and get 2nd tower at 20 ish mins with triforce on a slower game. 15 if really fed. But i group after first tower only, because even if they stomp me, if they tp bot i get 3 waves and they just threw lead to allow me to take more towers, then i can group and be very relevant even if an item behind im not useless and i got a tower and gold for team, and pressure on map. Instead of just getting a useless kill and air drag them jerking off mid for 5 mins. When insteaf those 3 waves and tower give you 1000+ gold and 1.5 lvls. This took me so long to learn but get a lead then group, dont just get nothing. Watch high elo streams, ask for EVERYTHING they do why they did it, pause video when confused until u get why, then you will stomp low elo.

I'm not high elo but if you're in bronze or silver- take this advice:

Become predatory on your opponents mistakes. There are SO many in low elo (no offence to anyone), make an effort to learn and exploit them.
