Can't Climb!!!!!!

I always watch videos on how to improve and climb. I play a small handful of champions and master them, I stick only to 2 lanes (Mid and Support), I mute the whole enemy team, don't focus on chat and play my best. I play pretty often but don't seem to improve; I'm almost demoted to Bronze 1. I don't know what else to do and could use some advice. Thanks! :p

In my opinion (I am platinum since season 4), there is different strategy to climb efficiently at different elo (bronze/silver) vs. (gold/plat). -Not even mentioning Diamond and above, I never played at that level anyway.

In Bronze/Silver, you need to carry to have a >50% winrate: you need to snowball and take objectives. You can't play a utility support or a utility tank which rely on your team. But you can play Annie support and snowball, for example.

In Gold/Plat, it is harder to stomp a lane and snowball by yourself, but utility support / utility tank become strong, because you can rely on your team.

This is personal: this is what works for me. It is different for everyone. Maybe you belong in Silver atm, so just keep playing and improving, and as you improve, you'll climb. =)

I would be interested to see statistic about the most popular role of each elo! I would expect mid/top to be popular in bronze, and support/jungler to be popular in diamond/master.

I think your best bet to climbing is duo queuing.

What champs are you picking to play as first?
