Is league worth getting back into?

I haven't played much in the last 3 months, is the game in a good enough state to get back into? Or should I give it till next season?

not in the slightest, its the same as it was before, retarded changes and shit they refuse to revert after it being a fuck up and 0 issues actually being fixed or just being made worse

Run, while you can. Kindred

Eh... coming back after 6 months I'm still on the fence about staying.

Depends how much you play. Ive been playing a lot less the past couple months and they keep making a ton of dramatic changes so it's hard to keep up. So if you only play a little bit, it's probably not worth it

I Highly disagree to the previous statments, league is a very unique game that requires a lot of attention to detail and mechanical awareness, if you have that, then absolutely! Although, Riot may need to fix a few things here and there, but there will always be things that need to be fixed and different issues. That's how the game industry works and gets better?

Hell to the no.

It's just even worse compaired to the precedent 3 months. Literally very single patches are basically making 1 step ahead while making 4 others backwards since every single "good" additions in the game are basically negated the patch after. Riot said that the game won't have big changes for the rest of the season, so expect it to be unplayable for another 4 month. If you really want to comeback, wait for preseason 9, if not, its just better to never comeback

For the first time ever, I can try to quit the game without battling a sense of addiction. Everything's an imbalanced mess, everyone dies too fast, and nothing feels satisfying. Come back next season when it gets sorted out.

depends on why you left

I stopped playing a looong time ago and it's still not good. When people stop complaining and when things get fixed. I will play.

When will that happen? Never, which means i never gonna get back.

That's something you would need to answer. You haven't said why you weren't playing and I can't tell what you find enjoyable. There's things happening you may or may not enjoy, an event going on, Butcher's Bridge is back, and new items that have been released. There's things to test and have fun trying out so for me, that makes it worth playing. However, you know the forums, people have a tendency not to come here unless they have something to complain about, something that they will take this opportunity to tell you about, for their own interests, that has killed the game, just like the thing before that and the thing before that for years.

I think you have to judge for yourself.

In that timeframe, it was better before you left.

No. If u want something competitive, but rather unsatisfying to play, then maybe. But there are way better and more fun games out there atm honestly. It's come to the point of a very successful, very polished big title that fails in most gameplay aspects. They had a direction with the class updates back in s5, and with some exceptions they failed. Now it feels like they are trying to panic-force stuff. Also if you were a new player u couldve kept up your interest with all the information to gather and the champions to unlock, if u are not its just the balance team ( maybe leading parts of it?) juggling random changes just to shake things up.Which would not be necessarily bad if they were a bit better. Honestly there are simple solutions right in their face but they make changes to refresh the game, while ignoring the issues. And even if it was worth getting back to right now, I would not risk it, its gonna be shit again soon after.

tl;dr Master plan failed, they started to make changes purely to refresh the game and those changes are mostly not that great (more like ridiculous).

No no no no no no no. Don't do it. Don't get sucked in because then you will keep playing regardless of whatever terrible balance changes Rito makes. I'm in that trap right now though I'm on the verge of escaping due to the bs scuttle changes and tower nerfs. Run as fast as you can.

TheLegendaddy6/10/2018, 8:36:17 AM1 votes

Play different games. This one is garbo. Free game quality.

Athenes Lulu6/10/2018, 8:53:55 AM1 votes

I was going to ask the same thing but I think you came to the wrong place to ask that.

Actually, I take that back, even Reddit is bitching about the game right now.

DW Diana6/10/2018, 11:34:38 AM1 votes

Love how people talk about "escaping" from league. There are many other games out there to play, so play them. In answer to the OP, at the moment things are a bit up in the air. Most mages are unplayable, top laners are becoming mid lane meta with assassins cleaning up when they aren't. Juggernauts are on most lanes, jungle is still rheeling from the scuttle changes and adc's are in an odd state of having to contend with other champions taking over. I'd not recommended coming back for a bit, I myself only play rarely now, but I reckon by preseason things will have calmed down a bit. Feel free to give it a go though, the current mess might suit your return =)

FlyingRoboticCow6/10/2018, 1:44:20 PM1 votes

I would suggest never coming back to LOL.

Kairoptra6/10/2018, 3:14:00 PM1 votes

Honestly, I think you should at least give it a shot. I don't know you or your preferences, so I think you should play around with it for maybe like a week or something just to judge for yourself. It's a free-to-play game, so it can't hurt you, right?
