Completely Unbalanced Blind Picks and Unranked Drafts

In case title is misleading I am talking about the skill level of the players in each game I am matched with.

This entire preseason I've been playing against many platinum and gold players when I am silver V. The rest of my team will be silver and we're just completely out played. It's completely ruining the game for me and I don't understand why it's happening.

Not everyone wants to be try hard. If I play at a silver V level I deserve to be matched with that level.

I think the problem is that a lot of high level players are high level because they mostly play ranked, not normals. So their normals MMR ends up much lower than their skill level.

I was thinking something was messed up with the matchmaking recently. Nearly every game I've played has been a stomp, yes I know snowbally meta but all my lanes just straight up win nothing to do with ADC changes or snowball mechanics.

Took a look at my match history, turns out I was being matched with a ton of silvers and bronzes:/

But yeah mmr for ranked and norms is separate not sure why. I'm just asking but mmr get reset? I was playing norms against some pretty good people before the season ended so I didn't think my norms mmr was that low:/ just curious.

I have some snap shots of the players levels in my past few games, not sure how to share them. But the disparity in skill level is massive each game. On top of that there's so much bm from enemy team, just makes playing horrible.

the two are separate? i thought ranked games would still change elo/mmr of a player.
