Good but easy to use AP mid laner?

Hello, so I've been trying to find a really good AP mid laner. I've been trying some of the harder ones first and realized that is not the way to do it. So who are some of the more simple ones to use or just average difficulty AP champions that are also very effective. Thanks in advanced!

Particularly if you focus on last hitting, and put some spell vamp in your rune page. Level 2, q a minion, 20 health. Q a minon, 20 health. Q a minon, 20 health. No mana was lost in the production of this health.

Azir a beginner champ?

I have some questions about the others but we'll start with azir.

Azir is most likely the hardest mid lane champ... second being zed but zed isn't even that hard compared to azir

Welp I just realized that was probably a troll comment LOL

Azir and Ekko have high learning curves...probably not the best suggestions for someone trying to learn the basics

I see what you did there

These champs are always reliable and don't really lose lane often: Annie Heimerdinger Lux Malzahar Syndra Vladimir

Ranged/Poke Mages that you can sit at a safe distance from: Velkoz Xerath Lux (these guys are all skillshots but are relatively safe to play: BEWARE OF ASSASSINS)

Annie Lux I'd say are about the easiest mid-laners in the game. Oh ya, the are also the best mid-laners in the game...

are pretty easy to pick up champions

thooouuughhh i would save my ip/rp for the new incoming champion who also happens to be a mid lane mage, he has a pretty fun and easy to use kit.

Galio - Super easy to play but mana management is difficult at first.

Cho'gath - My personal recommendation. He might be a little awkward at first but I believe he is the easiest solo laner to play right now who is also EXTREMELY effective. You can build him full tank, hybrid tank + AP, full tank + Hydra, or even a zz'rot portal rush if you are familiar enough with him. He nearly works with any build. Full AP is a thing on him too because his AP ratios are out of this world.

Morgana - Very easy to play while being able to wave clear from a distance. She is a very passive laner though. Especially with all of the assassins coming out in the later patches.

Vladimir - Very easy to play once you get passed the small learning curve during the early game phase. All you really need is a lot of AP and his passive grants him more health for every point of AP you have. This makes building him a pure AP mage very easy to do. He is also one of the most effective at escaping ganks of the champions that I listed.

Cassiopia - Little more difficult to play than the others only because you have to be good at kiting with her E. Other than that she is really easy to pick up and has game changing potential with her ult.

Malzahar - Easy to play once you get his Q down. The only other thing you would need to know is how to manage his E properly so you never run out of mana.

Need mana? Auto attack something once in a while. Everything else is pretty standard skillshots, with a fair amount of damage behind them.
