Morgana Maokai Senna Morgana can facecheck with her shield. Maokai can punish him for placing boxes. Senna can destroy the boxes instantly.

The ban button does pretty well for me.

Among supports, generally people who can bully him without engaging will do well. Morgana is probably the best by a decent margin. However, any way you see it, he is a cheese pick, so when you see a Shaco support, you pretty much just have to accept that you're in for a bad lane phase and recognize that he doesn't have any scaling at all in his normal role, let alone in a cheese role. It's on the ADC more than anything else to just accept that he isn't going to win that lane phase and should just let the enemy push him in and farm under tower. No matter what, if your ADC can farm into late game and just play safe and not feed, the Shaco pick will end up being worthless.

Brand, Zyra, Velkoz.

Basically any strong artillery mages who can poke him out.

Obviously when you're playing against support shaco you don't go near bushes because that's where he will place boxes.

Shaco's incredibly squishy, he has no sustain, and a lane with him is very vulnerable to poke wars not to mention their wavepush is worse than yours because shacos wavepush is garbage early.

Obviously don't pick hard engage champions on him, he can Q away every single hook you can throw at him and place a box on his ADC if you go to hook their adc as nautilus. Shaco also tends to win early all-ins because he gets the luxury of not only ignite, but an execute on his E, so you have to poke them down before engaging.
