At least 2 times in the last 24 hours I have seen a thresh land a hook thru a group of minions, once only I and my adc saw it but the last time there were 2 dead and spectating and they saw it too so it couldn't have been me lagging
It is a very advanced skill called "threading the needle" in which masters of thresh know the hitbox of his hook like the back of their lantern, allowing them to land visually impossible hooks. Note that this might have jsut been dumb luck because usually the visually wrong bugs are the ones that make a hook miss it's intended target.
