Could the damn Tryhards pls stay out of fun modes?

Raoul··4 votes·838 views

Seriously, its annoying.

You get a super fun game, where both teams happen to be both fun to play and fun to play against, and some damn tryhard pushed like hardcore to end the game...

Its a funmode, you are supposed to have fun here, not win asap...

Quit trying to admonish people for playing well, you're the reason people get to even say 'its just (insert game mode)" really just stop. Just get over the fact that you got stomped./

Honestly, people these days really forgot how to have fun. Its all just "MUST WIN MUST WIN MUST WIN!!!!" these days...

No after game chat any more, because the losing team is pissed and the winning team is arrogant, its a real shame what happened to the gaming community...

Who are you to say that YOUR FUN is more valuable than THEIR FUN.

Someone who says that for this generation of gamers, winning seems to be the only way to have fun.

If their fun doesnt go against the rules of the game you have literally no leg to stand on. You're just complaining that someone was doing well. This is a competitive game, even if the game modes are silly, wacky, and rapid, theyre still competitive game modes. Many many many people have fun seeing how well they can do and actually competing.

There are only very few instances that I can recall where losing was an enjoyable activity.

Exactly. Not everyone is a loser that finds losing fun. "Hawh staring at this grey screen is so much fun hawh"

Raoul1 votes

you know, there is a big difference between "finding losing fun" and "being able to have fun even if you are not winning"

ATastyDessert1 votes

Yes, please explain the fun part of watching a grey screen for 80% of the game

A little piece of advice: You life is not going to become better just because you won a game of life. You are not going to die over a lost game. This is just a video game, it is literally one of the least important things in existance.

ATastyDessert1 votes

Yes, and when I am playing a video game I prefer to have fun (99% by winning). ARURF is not fun even if I do win.

"It's literally one of the least important things in existence." What is your point? Nothing is important in existence except food, water and air.

And to me, URF is far more important than your opinion or advice.

URF isn't designed to be a free for all mode

I try hard to win in featured modes so little kids like you can run to the forums and cry about how I was supposed to troll.

Maybe you're having fun - the losing enemy is having a terrible time. I can't count the number of times where a game has turned to garbage, my assigned champion is helpless at this point and i die as soon as an enemy champion is in range, but i have 2 allies who won't surrender because they're on good champs and 5 enemies that want to just pad their kills.

People who refuse to win when they can should be banned. Fun game mode or not.

It's bad enough people like you took away regular URF - like something was wrong because only about 60 champions could compete and if you didn't pick from that pool you had a smaller chance of winning and couldn't "enjoy playing your champion against the same op stuff every game" (then every complaint lists a different 10 champs that are seen every game, because they weren't seen every game at all). Now we have a random version and you're complaining that people play it to win still? Some people enjoy COMPETING.

Ehm... my team was the losing one...

So then you were one of the 2 that didn't want to surrender while an ally was getting face wrecked and would otherwise be held hostage?

And if you truly believe none of your allies were in that position, then perhaps the enemy thought he would be outscaled and sought to win while he held an advantage / where he saw the opportunity.

The only time I've ever seen a game where I've had the same mindset as you was a 4v5 urf game where the enemy 5 had two good split pushers but were otherwise losing. They eventually relented to tirelessly pushing both side lanes, taking a tower every few minutes while the 4 of us scrambled to cover the map. We lost despite being up like 80 kills to 20, because we simply didn't have enough people to cover all avenues of entry. Even then, they did it because they didn't want to lose a 5v4. I can't blame them for that - i was just pissed at not being allowed to have the satisfaction of winning a 4v5 where our entire team completely outplayed them at every meaningful opportunity, and you just can't stop a tryndamere from taking turrets forever.

Nope, we didnt have a singel surrender vote all game... Why would you surrender an URF game?

Some people have fun seeing the victory screen pop up

Raoul1 votes

yeah, the problem is, these people ONLY have fun when they win. Thats one reason why this community is so toxic. People are unable to have any fun unless they are winning. and they act like losing a game of LoL is somehow something that matters...

ATastyDessert1 votes

Actually, people have fun when they're doing well. And when you're doing well, you usually win (deviations aside). When you're doing badly, you're usually looking at a grey screen unable to do anything. If you find that "fun" then that's great for you. Maybe you get entertained easily. Most people don't find that fun though.
